Hi ive been on google now for about two months but my stats have not improved whatsoever. Its not so much the commission I'm concerned with at this stage but the click throughs

I have been at this almost two months as well, but, I noticed that your website does not have that many post. I read somewhere on linkedIn that a blog does not really start to pick up traction until you reach 56 -100 post. And, a blog thrives off of consistency.

Like I write articles almost every two days and I noticed that when I stopped writing my traffic plunges. The awesome part is your are getting clicks...maybe not that much but, you are still getting clicks.

I would say if you were to keep updating your website those clicks would eventually increase.

I hope this helps.

Two suggestions: activate SSL and check your view on mobile. This is a screenshot from my tablet. Your content is easy to read and follow. I always hate the 'it takes time' answer but 2 months isn't that long.

In my opinion you have nowhere near enough content to expect anything else.
You actually only have two posts because your Home Page and
How to start in Affiliate Marketing – A basic beginner guide
contain the same information.
Also get rid of that Huge Pic at the top.
I think you should retake some of the basic training.

As I said, just my opinion but I think a lot of members will agree with it.

Pay Per Click Marketing

Seems to be a big talking point for affiliate marketers at the moment who gets the sale - the first click or last click before the cust buys. My question, say an affiliate prog

Hey Gary!

If the person buys on the first click then the first click gets paid.

If the person does not buy on the first click and clicks three more different affiliate links for the same product the last person's link gets paid if the person decides to buy.

Hope this makes sense :)

But some retailers say they only pay out on first click or share the proceeds across all the click chain.

They even go as far as saying in most am discussion sites that last click is nearly dead.

So if the chain is broken though by a customer deleting their cookies inbetween so the retailer wont know where the first click came from who gets paid?

You would have to contact the companies of these affiliate programs to ask them directly. Some have different terms, agreements, etc than others.

Hi from what i understand all affiliate links have a unique ref no after the domain name your linking to to identify your site that brought the visitor there is this the bit of

did you have a different way in mind to use it?

they tell us to use the whole link, or pretty links,

see the affiliate button top right center of page, white with blue writing and link icon, the bit at the end has your unique cookie but they ask you to copy the whole link and they provide them on the pages you can use

Thank you, I suspected that was just making sure. I'm aiming to use the pretty links in the normal way

Spot on, Gary! All the Best! Warren
