SWAG month 3: Oops - I've been a bit slack: need 11 posts in 11 days!

How are you getting on with this month's SWAG challenges?

OK so the day of reckoning is approaching faster than I would like for SWAG month 3 and I've been a bit slack this month so far doing other things and sorting out my life. Now I need to write 11 posts in the next 11 days, which even for my simple maths brain is 1 per day.

I would like to create at least one video for YouTube and get my ebook onto Amazon as well so I'm not scrimping on my 'to do' list!

I'm also redesigning my niche site too because I really have been inspired by some great sites that I've seen around after doing some research, so it's going to be 'all hands to the pump' as they say. Or should that be 'all hands to the typewriters'.

Luckily I have two monkeys of my own that I can put to good use although I may have to use the spell checker a lot more than usual and aim every article at 10 year olds! So the challenge really is, 'how can I write 11 posts about making slime, fidget spinners and 'elf on the shelf' whilst making them interesting?!!

I jest!

What I'm NOT going to do.

The one thing I am definitely NOT going to do is stress about it and beat myself up if I don't achieve everything I set out to. Goals are great and important and very useful in achieving your dreams, but so is your mental health and your sanity. The minute the goals start putting us under undue pressure or making us sleep less at night, it's time to redefine the goals.

Life is meant to be fun and exciting too and we are meant to enjoy it so later today, I've decided I'm planting out some flowers in my garden, going swimming with my children and overseeing a meal that they are going to cook!

Wish me luck!

(I have a good take away number up my sleeve too)

Have a great weekend everyone - and remember "laughter truly is the best medicine" so remember to do that today if you do nothing else!

Early in your post I thought you had gone crazy, but after reading all of it, I see you have the right attitude! lol

Thanks Donald. Am not totally sure I haven't gone crazy either.

Thank you for the great emotional intelligence (EQ) lesson, Gail:)

Thanks Anton - I love emotional intelligence - so much more useful than just having a good IQ I find!

Yes, it seems like EQ is much more critical for adaptation from IQ, as I see a lot of successful people with high EQ vs. unsuccessful with just high IQ, but low EQ.

Love your 'Do not disturb' sign!!!

Enjoy your swim and - hopefully - the meal cooked by your girls.

I agree - we need to enjoy life, enjoy what we are doing, take pleasure from our achievements, not fret about trying to get everything done that's on our list.

I was going to plant things out today too, but it's really cold, windy and rainy here and taking my dog out was quite enough for me for now.

Sending you lots a big hug and lots of good wishes to enjoy the day with your girls.

~ Isabella

Thanks Isabella. Very cold here too so I may wait for tomorrow for the majority of plants or go out in my wellies!

Just saw your comment to Elaine that you've been swimming and feeling good. Glad - was going to ask but know now. Hope you also got a good meal.

Hi Isabella. Yes it was a good swim thank you. And yes, we got food too.

love the sloth. don't fret. I'm behind too.

I'll get there.....eventually. All the best to you too Steven.

What is Swag?

It stand for Super Wealthy Affiliate Group. It is a training that was set up by Kyle to specifically target getting more Wealthy Affiliate sales through your websites. I think you should be able to access the first month's training here: It's basically some intensive action plans if you are using a bootcamp site.

Wise advise, thank you Gail. At some point in time, one ought to give themselves a nervous breakdown!!

Yes, but not this month! :)

Hi Gail, I think we have all pulled an all-nighter at some point in our lives, for some reason or another. Get the kettle on, or better still a nice bottle of wine! and get to work. HAHA just joking Gail, just do your best and that will be fine. Good Luck.
Jenny

Thanks Jenny - I'll definitely have to stick with the kettle now. At my age, it's one glass of wine and lots of zzzzzzzzzzzz......

Me too, lol.
Jenny

Me too :-)

Isabella

Well done!

Wayne

Thanks Wayne. Loving your support especially when I've yet to do it. I like your confidence in me. :)

You’re going to be just fine Gail!

Wayne

Good luck

Thank you Courtney.

I got really behind at the beginning of the monthlies to a dose of the flu but am now back on track. Publishing number 9 today, leaving me with 3 to do but other things on my to do list have gone on the back burner this month.
Hope you enjoy your planting, swimming and meal.
If you don’t get it all done for SWAG, there is no harm done.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Thanks Karen. Glad you are feeling better now. And yes, Sundays are great with the kids and I love them. Will write a post later and see how I get on - no sweating here! :)
Have a lovely day and thanks for reading.
