All-In-One SEO or WPSEO by Yoast
So, guys and gals, I need your opinion and experience, please. Which SEO plug-in do you use, prefer and had most success with?
I have been using the All-In-One SEO plug-in since I began my website in March 2015, but there are many reviews about the Yoast plug-in being far more superior and effective.
What have you experienced? Should I stay with what I have been using or try the other plug-in?
Love to hear your insights into this.
Regards,
Duncan

Duncan, I have not tried any others, I think it is recommended to keep using All-n-One SEO that is offered here at WA. But i guess it doesn't hurt to try another one but I just don't know
Yes, I am staying with A I One, but obviously there are so many experienced people here that I was keen to hear their opinion. Jay said he staying with it and I believe he knows a bit. Always worth a discussion on some of these subjects.
I'm currently;y running AIN on my site and my clients site has Yoast, which I don't find as intuitive to use. He swears by it, but it seems to be a lot more fussy to me.
So I'll be sticking with AIO :)
Cool. My wife's developer uses Yoast and I was curious to hear other's opinion. Thank you very much, Jay.
I started with AIO, have been using YOAST for a little over 1 month and would like to switch back. Is this possible or will I mess up all of my content?
No, it shouldn't do that. Just make sure that you have set up All in One before you delete or switch off Yoast.
If you know what to fill in and where, it doesnot made much difference,
you can see my blog about SEO using Yoast

I have used All in One SEO on my own and client sites since I started blogging over a decade ago. Yoast does about the same job but the interface at least use to be more clunky and I am not sure if their plugin will scan the article for title and description or keywords if you forget to add them before hitting post. All in One now handles Social Meta and Semantic Mark-ups and has management facilities for your .htaccess and sitemap.xml eliminating at least 4 additional plugins.
I have to bow to your experience. Those tips are valuable and gratefully received. Have a great weekend.
hi Yuma,,,have you tried the most recent version of Yoast? if so,,,what's your feedback?
Haven't tried the most recent version yet but may give it a spins on the site I am developing our weekly marketing newsletter on.

Right now I am using All-In-One Seo since that is what is recommended. Prior to joining WA I was using the free version of Yoast. I actually liked it quite a bit. It is a little more involved when setting up and after each post it will give you an analysis of your content. It will tell you things like the density of your keyword, do your images have outgoing links etc
I think for now I will stick to what is recommended by WA. Whether or not it is a better SEO tool I think it comes down to person preference.
Thank you so much for these balanced comments. It seems from everyone here that either plug-in would be effective. I appreciate you taking time to share your experience.
On another note, what are you enjoying most about WA?
I am enjoying all the great support from so many members.
Excellent isn't it. It is what has encouraged me so much.
