WAUers!!! Ever hear the ol' saying "No money! No honey!" ??? Larry

I can't swear that the term originated in the Philippines but I never heard it until I visited the islands 30 some? years ago. In our business money is highly correlated to our conversions. Right? S0...in order to get more honey let's get more conversions which will lead to more $$$.

How? When you key in the word "conversions" into you "Need help XXXX? Ask your question here" box in our upper rectangle you will see that Kyle, Carson, Jay and several other WAUers have all provided us with some help.

No doubt that we need to read and re-read and put into action many of these points.

But, as my dear ol' mother used to say, "There is more than one way to skin a cat!" So.....with this said I would like to ask our creative WAUers to list just 2-3 out - of - the - box reasonable, nocost/low cost specific methods that will increase our conversion rates. OK?

Thanks Larry freedomforus

When one comes to mind, i'll send it to you. thanks for this great food for thought.

I write from my heart, first of all. If my heart's not in it, there's no point in wasting my time or my readers' time. Correct grammar is another one, along with proof reading. Relevant content is key, also.

Hi Larry, betcha, if I can recall when I was still living there, 'no money , no honey, actually means if husband doesn't bring in money from his days work, he doesn't get what he wants from his wife. This expression was always coming from a woman. We can always shift the meaning to a different level, can't we?

Hahahaha....that's a very common expression in our country. True enough, no money, no honey. So you've been to the Philippines. That's exciting to know. But as to conversions, I have to find that out ~been out from here for quite a while. Gotta get back to the lessons. Whewww...I don't even know where to start again.

Welcome back. The beginning is always a good place to start... even when you are starting over.

I guess that's how it goes...start over again so that I could regain the momentum. It's difficult but worth it.

Yes, I just started over myself. I'm actually finding it a bit better this time round. All the best to you.

Great helpful information and excellent idea! That cat saying must be universal because we use that one here in the uk! Please let us know if you get a reply from the ones in the know :-)

ReinventMe,

Check out these answers. They are dy-na-mite! Larry

I researched it, here in the southern states of the USA where catfish is plentiful, the sentence is said to refer to catfish. Catfish is not the easiest to skin.
All other definitions, point to other ways of doing things. It was even used by Mark Twain!
There was one more, but I dislike it very much - has to do with whether the cat was alive or not when the process took place.
When I read the sentence, it stirred memories in my brain of a different definition I had heard before, but I cannot recall what it was!

In Thailand its No Honey, No money But it means the same .
