Sacrifices we make to get ahead in life
I was at work this morning when my eight year old son called and asked if I was coming home this morning; as usual I had to tell him no, not this morning but tomorrow morning.
You see I am security officer and I work long hours just to make ends meet, but the long hours are taking a toll on my family who I only get to see once or twice for the week. This is sacrifice I make and many others other than myself make to try and make their family financially comfortable. It’s a hard pill to swallow because at times they miss you so much it hurts.
After telling him he wouldn't see me until tomorrow, I could hear the disappointment in his voice and then he started to cry. His tears cut through me like a razor and I almost joined him crying. I felt like just packing up and leave, but I had to show restraint, because I really needed the job to take of him and the members of my family.
That's why I choose "Wealthy Affiliate" as my internet marketing solution to financial freedom. I have viewed some of the trainings, and Wealthy Affiliate has given me hopes. I day dream about being home full time with my family, working right from home and being there to see my son when he gets home from school and my wife when she gets home from work.
We all have been looking for online opportunities and I know I have found the one best suited for me. Simplicity is what they believe in, but you have to be an action person. Don't just talk the talk but walk the walk. You have to be a real "BadAss" to get this done and I don't mean bad in a negative way. You just have to have that zest about you to want to get this done and do them. Once you follow the plan and get your feet wet you will be on your way to financial freedom.
We all dream of a better tomorrow and the possibility to come closer to our family. Sacrifices are made at times and it is and will always be rough, but what we do and don't do that will determine if we get out of that cycle or we stay in it.
I look forward to more time with my family and less time working to so hard, because at the end of the day you might have to pay that back in medical fees.

Daniel is exactly right, allow your security job to not only allow your family to get by, but use it to pay yourself while you educating yourself on IM. Stick with it, copy successful people. Get ideas while putting you own take on things and never give up, don't stop learning, and more importantly don't stop doing!
I can't think of anything more heart-breaking, other than physically losing loved ones, than folks having to work in jobs that take them away from their family. It can be as bad as the military. I really feel for folks in this boat. I wish I had short-term answers for these people. I don't have a family. It doesn't hurt me as much to be in a situation like this, but I hate it bad enough let alone having a family with young children. It is so unfair.
I really wish I had the funding to help folks who really deserve it to get on Premium. Some day I will be able to grant this. This is how badly I feel about this. I'm very glad to see that he is on Premium so he gets the best ever. There are people on here who can't get on Premium in this same boat.
There is a man I would like to tell you about, who built an empire because of the very exact experience you had with your child. It invokes anger inside of me to see this happening to folks. I do not have a family but I do know the insidious trap employment puts people in. I have known this for a long time and have even written a book on it. If you would like, I would send you a copy of that book. It is not 100%, but it gives everything you need to know about wage slavery and the implications of being employed. What is still missing in it is the entrepreneurial life that, when exercised and practiced, will eventually reward the diligent by giving them the keys to their prisons. Anything I can write on that regard, well, you already have it right here in front of you.
I really feel for you, even though I never had a family. I can still feel your pain on my own terms, I can just only imagine what it is actually like to have young children who don't understand the implications of having a job and why you must be absent..
Give it everything you have within you! You are in the very best place you can be. The key is inside of you. WA will help you get that out so you can turn the stein. You have the power within you to not only free yourself from your job, but your wife's tool Your children need you. I know you know this. If yours is a security job at night, do you have opportunity to have reading materials and/or audio with you? I would get every bit of time allowed in company policy to make double use of their time and educate yourself whilst on the job. Sad if you can't, but leverage every single opportunity you have.
