I check my WA Affiliate stats pretty much every day and have consistently been getting only anywhere from 2-5 hits on my links. A couple of days ago I had a big fat ZERO! Toda
I have days at zero and day's when I almost hit 100, it's just the bumps in the road and the way it goes sometimes. Enjoy the high day's :)
MIne ranked on the 10th page and now has gone to 32 page so I really don't know what is happening myself sorry.
It could be simple highs and lows. Also from what i understand so far even if you don't rank, doesn't mean no traffic. Plus i know that when I'm looking for info on something that could be a scam i go pretty deep so seeing as your site says the WA scam it might have set off a red flag. Just a few thoughts.

I made a post with a video in it. I want the shared post to show the image of the video when posted. You know, like when someone shares to google+ it throws an image in there.
Update: I installed the Youtube plugin by EmbedPlus Team and now my shares to Google+ share exactly like I want them too.
I still took a screen shot of the video and set it as my featured image. Do I still need to do that?

I don't think it could hurt to make that as the featured image.
But what you could do is experiment. Next time you do a similar post, save a different featured image and see how it looks once you share it. If it still looks the way you want, then you will know which way to go. But I wouldn't change the current post, seeing how it is already indexed into Google.
It's a youtube video that I put in my own post on essentialanointing.com. Now I'm trying to share it out to google+ but it's not showing the video in the shared post. Am I trying to do the impossible?
When I go to share your post on Google+ I get to choose between the images of 25 Uses of Thieves or the Young Living Essential Oils. Those are the only two options available. The image of the video itself is not an option.

Thank you for trying to help me with this. I feel like it's a simple thing and I'm missing it. I'm sure I see people sharing videos from their websites onto social media, and it shows the video in the shared post. It's really bugging me because I don't have alot of ways to get traffic other than google ranking and sharing these few posts, and I haven't gotten to the lessons about affiliate stuff yet. Even a work around, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make an effective post that will be shared well. I just don't know if people will click through/like/share, etc without the photo.

Because the page I shared did not have the video in the main body of the content, no, you would not see the image of the video. However with this new link you provided you do get a small thumbnail image of the video, but that is all you will get. You do see people sharing videos from their websites but that is just the video they are sharing not the entire web page.
Traffic is something that takes time and using social media is a BIG help. It is the main reason why I got so heavily into it shortly after I created my first website. If you were to go back to my earlier blog posts, you will see that I have been pushing a lot of members here to get more involved with social media because it is like free advertising, especially if you join communities with similar interests.
Yes, sharing with an image is the best way to increase interaction on social media. The only way I know to share a video on Google+ is to upload it directly by using the link of the video and not the link of the web page it resides in.
Interesting...that wasn't an option for me before. I wonder when that showed up. I went back to check again because you said you see a small image of the video. That's all I wanted but didn't have that option. Now I want to know why I have it now but didn't earlier. Hmmmmm. May it is the photo I cropped from the screenshot of the video and set as the feature image? But still, why didn't it show up before now? Ah well, glad it is fixed whatever happened.
