Top 50 Again! Back Where I Belong

Hello my fellow movers and shakers here at Wealthy Affiliate! I hope everyone is having a great week and reaching many of your goals.

I hit a little one of mine and made it back to the Top 50! Hooray for Team Mark!

As we all know the "Yoyo Effect" is an affiliate marketing and MMO constant. Our traffic, sales, and motivation can ebb and flow like the tides. So can our rank.

I believe I reached a rank of 43 around Black Friday last year after being active about four months. I started as a complete newbie in the making money online game. I thought SEO was some new politically correct term for a CEO. I thought a widget was perhaps a slang term for a white midget. What a dumbass amateur I was last summer in the affiliate marketing game.

Being a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist I take every December off to rest and get ready for my busy season (Jan.-Mar.). I work 50-60 hour weeks those months, making enough money to then travel, play golf, and scuba dive the rest of the year.

This year things were a little different. I bought a condon in Kyiv, Ukraine last summer and decided that is where I want to live permanently. My Ukrainian girlfriend cried when she picked me up at the airport. I asked her why she was crying and she said she knew I was coming to stay because I brought my golf club. I do not leave home without my clubs

I spent December 5000 miles away from my hometown of Memphis, Tennessee in my new home in Kyiv, Ukraine. I spent it with my soon to be bride and her family and it was the best month of my life. So far.

I worked my butt off for three months and had my best season ever. I cleared almost $40K in profit and had a real awakening. I realized that if I could market my services online instead of one-on-one, and teaching classes, that I could reach many, many more clients. My offline marketing skills are well proven. And Wealthy Affiliate gave me all the tools and resources to do just that. So after four months away from WA, I came back with a new vigor to take ALL my offline businesses to the world, instead of just Memphis.

My rank dropped from Top 50 back into the 1000's. Big deal. Rank never put one cent in my bank. So with my new zeal for MMO, I came back to WA. Now I am back where I belong. In the Top 50.

It took that long to get back because I was working on my sites and the training and did not worry about rank. My websites love me for it. And I have always said bank is WAy more important than rank.

This time around is going to be different.

I love HELPING OTHERS and BEING ACTIVE within this awesome community That will keep me in the Top 50 easily. Perhaps even higher. My writing ability is so much better now than when I first started, that CREATING quality blogs and trainings will be much easier. Activity, helping others, creating? Easy for me now with the training I am receiving.

And yes, I consider my busy season a vacation. I have access to 35 gyms in the area and all the owners love me because I bring my my huge clientele to their gyms. I help people and I get paid. And at $100/hr., I call that a 3 month vacation. It pays me enough to not have to work the rest of the year. THAT is absolute freedom!

And isn't absolute freedom the reason why we all are here?

So that is what I am doing now. I am converting/monetizing my two Personal Training and Nutrition websites, my juicing site, and my Teaching English as a Foreign Language(TEFL) online site to exclusively MMO endeavors.

I will also be getting my certification in a few weeks to be a Specialist in Exercise Therapy. Rehabbing all these Baby Boomers from injuries and getting paid by insurance companies is going to be my next niche website and maybe my best. And I guess I will promote this little old site too. Geniuses like Jay and Carson probably aren't low paying salaries and Bugattis are kind of expensive.

That gives me five sites monetized and ready to Rock and Roll. I have only been active here for 9 of the 13 months but have learned so much. And have so much more to learn. All this for less than a dollar per day. Unbelievable.

I figure not bad for someone who last summer thought a plug in was where you get electricity. What a dumb ass.

I have met some wonderful people in the last year and I hope to meet many more. Our "Summer of 2018" class here at WA are some amazing folks and great friends. I see a lot of us in the Top 50.

I had my best Personal Training season ever this year with many old clients wanting to do a few more months with me, as I do not plan on returning to the USA until 2026 for the World Cup with my Ukrainian wife and friends. Many of my 500+ clients I have trained over the past twenty years are gung ho about helping me get lots of quality comments on my sites and some have already taken advantage of my 67% off "Ukrainian" discount. I have many clients I have "grandfathered" in for life. Passive income rocks!!!

With all I have planned, I figure to be here for a long time. I pretty much can spend as much time every day as needed working on my sites. For the rest of the year! For the next decade. My girlfriend has a very good job and she is 110% behind all of my MMO efforts. That is all the motivation I need to do some great things.

I so look forward to the future here at WA. Doing what I love helping others improve their lives both physically and fiscally. And I hope to drag a few people with me down The Yellow Brick Road.
