How to Get Rid of Uncategorized In Your Posts
It's time for your daily dose of Wordpress Wisdom! In today's quick tutorial I'll be showing you how to get rid of that pesky "uncategorized" label you may have seen at the end of your blog posts, both in the article itself and in the blogroll. I'm going to show you why it's there in the first place (don't worry, it's not your fault), how to correctly categorize your content, and then, last but not least, how to remove that label if you don't want to see it altogether using CSS coding. Let's dive in!

Thanks Eric, I love your short & sweet nuggets of Wordpress knowledge. Another thing I do to help avoid the dreaded "Uncategorized" category, is go into Settings --> Writing (in Wordpress back-office) and set the default writing category to my generic "General Info" category. Then if I forget to set the proper categories on a new post, at least it won't be Uncategorized. 😊
