Instead of classic editor, which block editor should we use?

Hey Kathie,

Hope you haven't done anything to your website as of yet.

PLEASE do NOT delete the Classic Editor until you have converted your website over to using the WordPress block editor.

If you DO delete the Classic Editor before converting, you MIGHT cause yourself more headaches... and, if you have already deleted the Classic Editor and are fretting... simply re-install the Classic Editor and hopefully your site will be restored.

Work on your posts and pages one at a time to convert them. There is a BIG learning curve to using the Block Editor.

Whenever you have used HTML on your pages/posts with the Classic Editor, you CAN use the HTML block in the Block Editor.

Here's a quick video to help you make the switch easier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCRlTgL6ihU

Hope you find this helpful.

When you remove the classic editor plugin you’ll by default have the block editor. And if you search “Wordpress Wisdom” up top in the smart search (magnifying glass) you’ll find a long list of Wordpress and block editor tutorials I’m doing daily. You can also just go to my blog.

Thank you. I thought that we needed a special plug in strictly for block editor. I’m good now.

This is the one, it shows you how to convert to block editor too ( im pretty sure)

I just converted it to blocks. I didn't download anything. I think the block editor is the best now, lol it was a learning curve but not a bad one. If you want to, they have classes; I think Jays was the first one I saw, but there are more.

Thank you!

I just changed mine from classic to block editor; it took a little getting used to, but now I love it, lol.

I don't think I downloaded anything I believe I changed it in there. I"ll have to double-check.

If I have content that has been indexed yet no link does not show up in domain authority sites!

When your psots are indexed, and often days later, down the line, start getting noticed, provided targeted keywords are searchable, and new websites can rank efficiently.

But typically, "authority" for a website starts to get established over time, usually at the 3-6 month mark.

A page is indexed by Google if it has been visited by the Google crawler ("Googlebot"), analyzed for content and meaning, and stored in the Google index. Indexed pages can be shown in Google Search results (if they follow the Google Search Essentials).

Stephen

Yeah, don't worry about "domain" authority websites. If you are indexed, you are indexed...that is the defacto. Domain authority websites are unreliable and I wouldn't put too much weight into them, rather focus on Google Console and the results you are seeing there.

Kyle, the AI conversational blogger imitates you 100%. Its unreal. It has your personality. It has a tendency to say “don't worry too much” it’s programmed by you haha! Now I know where that came from. It is true that domain authority doesn't have much weight.

Thank you

LOL Brenda, I misread that I read "Now I know where you came from", but now you mention it I concur

Hahaha! Yes, for sure.

Insufficient permissions in Search Console
Your Google account does not have sufficient permissions for this Search Console property, so you won’t be able to see stats

I hope you were able to figure it out, Kathie, and got the correct account.

go into your search console and click on the property and see if it has glitched - i had this a few days ago where most of my sites became unverified...even though the code was in there....
clicking on the site it then became verified...no changes...

Yeah, it looks like you have set it up through another Google Account. Do you have another Google account that you could already have tied to this domain?

thank you, i will check that out.

For the month of January I had seven posts that became indexed. I’m happy about this!

Woohoo! Congratulations Kathie :)

Awesome!

Indexed is always a good start.

Great to hear they are indexed now to get them ranking up high on the search engines.
Congrats and keep moving forward.

Andre

Keep up the good work! Double it for February!

I will try!

Could someone please tell me the link or how to put in the different codes for products?

Thanks everyone, with all of your help, I have finally figured it out.

Woohoo :) Tops. I am glad.

Hey Kathie,

Personally, I would Google search for help like this.

Though, I did take the liberty of searching YouTube for your question.

See screen print below...

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you! I did watch this!

Have you watched all of them, and you still don't understand, Kathie?

I found this;
To do this, you will need to first generate an affiliated link from the store you'd be auto-affiliating from your CJ Affiliate dashboard. First, log in to your CJ Affiliate Dashboard. Then, with your cursor, hover over your “Links” tab and select “Link Tools.”
I hope that it helps.

Stephen

Yes thank you. I was so frustrated that I could not figure it out.

Did you get it all figured out?
If not, I'm positive that a solution can be had.

Stephen

You add any link by highlighting the text in Wordpress and on the menu bar you should see a chain. This is the link symbol. Click on it and insert the URL of your link.

where do you put in the different numbers of the products in the link?

You should have a complete link for every product you're trying to be an affiliate for, so you just copy the full link for each product, which you'll need to find on whatever site you're promoting products for, then paste that link into the chain icon which TheCatherine was referring to.

You can only add one link to a particular text string or pic, whatever; so you want that link to be relevant to the text or image.

I'm not sure what you mean by "putting in the numbers of the different products". Anything of that nature should be included in the full affiliate link for each particular product that you're promoting.

So I choose the link of the product I want to promote.
I understand this but I’m confused by the numbers on the product, what part of the link should those numbers go?

I'm not familiar with any such numbers, sorry.

Can you provide a screenshot so we can get a better understanding of the numbers you are talking about?

Stacie
