How to Change a Post to a Page (and vice versa) in Wordpress
It's time for your daily dose of Wordpress Wisdom! In today's quick tutorial I'll show you how to change a post to a page or vice versa. There's two ways to do this, both manually and via the use of a plugin and they're both SUPER easy!
Sometimes as you're going through the process of publishing something, let's say it's your privacy policy or affiliate disclosure, you accidentally publish them as a post instead of a page. Or maybe you've just poured your heart and soul into the world's best blog and you accidentally publish it as a page. Not to fear! I'll show you how to remedy this situation and remove all the stress.
As always, please feel free to share this video to anyone needing help with this. If you have any Wordpress related questions that you'd like to see me create a tutorial around feel free to send me a private message or leave me a message on my profile.
If you want to check out all my Wordpress Wisdom tutorials you can go to the WA smart search up top (magnifying glass) and type in "Wordpress Wisdom" or just head over to my blog.
Be productive!
Get to work!
I'll see you next time!

Hey, Eric,
Loved your post and although I don't have this problem at the moment, it still helps to know.
While watching it, I noticed "Category" in the screenshot and my eyes lit up.
My predicament is that I managed to put all my posts from "uncategorised" status to "micro influencers."
Can I change this? If so, how?
Also, may I ask how important categories are in SEO and how must we manage them effectively, therefore?
Cheers
Heres a tutorial to watch. While it’s about adding categories to the main menu, along the way it shows you how to create new categories and assign them to posts. How to Add Categories to Your Main Menu

Thanks Eric,
I did it, it took me less than a minute.
I have changed a post to a page so that I can create a static page on one of my sub domains, rather than just having lots of posts that might send viewers to another page or post.
For those that dont know, if you want to create a plain static website you can go into website, customisation, homepage settings and just have one LONG page, that you can add to over a period of time, rather than having lots of posts.
You cant use a post as a static homepage, only a page.
Thanks
Brian
Glad to help!
