How to Add a Table of Contents Into a Post
Time for your daily dose of Wordpress Wisdom! In today's tutorial I'll show you how to add and create a table of contents into a post on your Wordpress website. Having a table of contents in your article is a great way to show your readers what's to come as well as giving them a quick way to navigate directly to the part of your content they want to see.
Please feel free to share this video if you see any member asking a question about creating a table of contents and, as always, if you have any Wordpress questions you'd like to see me cover in an upcoming tutorial please send me a private message or leave a message directly on my profile.
See you next time!

Great Eric. I'll try the TOC you recommend because the one I chose isn't so customizable. I love these snippets which solve my problems instantly.
Another idea, if it's not too much! 🤨
How does 'featured image' work? And how important is it to add if we want to keep our sites light and loading quickly.
Another great tutorial, Eric. I appreciate the information given in this context it will be very useful for me to write my content. ✍️

Hi Eric, great tutorial.
I am using rankmath pro TOC, I have added it successfully but it adds "quick Links" (Footer) and "Leave a comment" too. How do I remove them.
In RankMath TOC settings, I have headings set to H2. It picks QL and Leave a comment because these 2 are also H2.
I can't change "leave a comment" and "quick Link" to H3 so to avoid the problem.
Help please
Thanks
I’m not familiar with the Rank Math TOC.
Thanks, how do I edit the “comment block” in block editor, I am using generatepress pro theme?
