if you have traffic ( the only time you should be joining an affiliate program) then you will have no problem reaching the required 3 sales in 180 days ( sounds a lot, but time will pass quickly)
and you will need to join multiple programs - i would start with either uk or US...
you can then link the accounts together and use the US links - then visitors will be directed to the correct account.
do not put prices on your posts - or amazon will terminate your account...against their rules - make sure you go through their rules and terms and conditions...
but most prices on the web are quoted in dollars, unless directed to a specific country...
Yes, I think you can only link from the US site. You then set it up to redirect to the appropriate site if the user is in another country. It also relies on there being an equivalent product on the site you redirected to.
Dave
Thanks Phil:)
Definitely not mentioning prices on my posts besides, prices fluctuate all the time. Visitors are directed automatically or do I need to change some settings in my account?
I write affiliate disclosure at the start of the post and write "affiliate link" next to links, is that okay?
Thanks:).
Thanks Dave,
How do I set the redirection? Will I still get the commission if they are redirected to a different country?
Thanks:)
Linking your US and UK Amazon Associate accounts can be quite beneficial if you’re targeting audiences from both regions. Amazon has a program called OneLink that allows you to connect your international Amazon Associates accounts, including the US and UK accounts, so you can earn commissions from both regions when visitors from different countries click your affiliate links.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to link your US and UK Amazon Associate accounts:
1. Sign Up for Both US and UK Amazon Associate Accounts
If you don’t already have both accounts, you need to sign up for the Amazon Associates program in each region. Start by going to the Amazon Associates page for the UK (https://affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk) and for the US (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com) and create accounts in each.
You will receive unique tracking IDs for each account, which are essential for earning commissions from clicks generated in each region.
2. Set Up OneLink in Your US Amazon Associates Account
Once you have both accounts, the easiest way to link them is through Amazon’s OneLink feature. To get started:
• Log in to your US Amazon Associates account.
• On the dashboard, find the OneLink option, which should be in the “Tools” menu.
• Follow the instructions to set it up. You’ll be asked to link your UK (and possibly other international) Amazon Associate accounts.
3. Connect Your UK Amazon Associate Account
Once in OneLink, you’ll need to connect your UK Amazon Associate account:
• Navigate to the OneLink Settings page in your US Amazon account.
• Here, you’ll see an option to link international Amazon accounts.
• Select the UK option and enter the details of your UK Amazon Associates account, including the Store ID and the relevant tracking ID.
• Once connected, Amazon will automatically redirect visitors from the UK to your UK affiliate links.
4. Use Universal Amazon Affiliate Links
Once OneLink is set up, any time you use an Amazon US affiliate link on your website, OneLink will automatically detect the region of the visitor. For instance, if a UK-based user clicks a US Amazon link, they’ll be redirected to the appropriate product page on https://Amazon.co.uk.
OneLink helps you maintain a seamless user experience for your visitors while maximizing your affiliate commissions in different regions.
5. Check Your Affiliate Links for Correct Tracking
After setting up OneLink, you might want to test your links to ensure everything is working as expected. You can use a VPN to simulate browsing from different countries or ask friends from the UK or US to test links for you.
Make sure that:
• US visitors are redirected to the correct https://Amazon.com product page with your US affiliate tracking ID.
• UK visitors are redirected to the https://Amazon.co.uk page with your UK tracking ID.
6. Track Your Earnings in Both Accounts
Even though OneLink simplifies the linking process, you’ll still need to track your earnings separately. Your commissions from US traffic will show up in your US Amazon Associate dashboard, and your UK commissions will be tracked in the UK Amazon Associate dashboard.
A Few Things to Note:
• Currency Conversion: Your commissions will be paid in the respective currency of each region, i.e., USD for the US and GBP for the UK. Keep an eye on conversion rates if this is a significant portion of your income.
• Regional Differences in Product Availability: Sometimes, certain products may not be available on both https://Amazon.com and https://Amazon.co.uk. This could affect your commissions for international users.
• Compliance with Regional Guidelines: Make sure you adhere to the specific guidelines and regulations of the Amazon Associates program in each country, as the rules may differ slightly between regions.
With both accounts linked, you can now focus on driving traffic from both regions without worrying about setting up separate links for each country. It’s a neat way to streamline your affiliate marketing efforts and improve your revenue from international visitors.
Have you already experimented with driving international traffic? I’d love to hear how it’s going for you—drop a comment below and share your experience!

Hello everyone:),
I have couple of questions if someone can answer in detail that will be great.
1 - I was wondering how can I delete a blog post/page from my we
you put the posts you want to delete in draft mode; once something is on the Internet, it is hard to remove completely. i also use yeast seo pro to redirect them automatically when I update
Hi abbie,
Thanks for your response:). Do you mean the new updated posts need to go in "draft mode"? These won't be ranking/indexed so what's the point of putting them in "draft mode"?
Kaleem
Instead of deleting them, put them in draft mode till you have made up your mind about what to really do with them.
Abie
So if they are in draft mode then they are invisible on internet? What happens to these drafted posts which were once published, in sitmap?
😊
If indexed, you can edit everything except change the URL. If the URL changes to Google, it will be a new post, you'd lose any ranking that has been done.

Hello everyone,
I have come to find out that my website loads extremely slowly on mobile (performance is at 35). I checked the score and all the pages are under 50 and i
I went to your site and didn’t have any issues with load times. It performed well as I went from post to post and back to the home 😎👍🏼💯 Here’s the page speed tests I got for it and they’re perfectly fine.
If you’re on your site and you visibly see slow load times of 5 to 7 seconds and it’s doing that consistently, that’s when you want to investigate what’s causing the issues. If you don’t notice any actual slow loading times neither will your audience 👍🏼
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your explanation. I am really confused because "page speed insight" is showing two different results even on same browser (google chrome) in two different windows lol. I will share the screenshots below.
Also, most of the pages have really low score on mobile, see screenshots please:).
Yeah when I checked out your site I didn’t have any issues at all. It was fast and responsive 👍🏼. If you’re not noticing anything slow with your site, neither is your audience. Focus on building out that content 💯
There could be many reasons for this...
What is your website URL, please? And what did support say?
Also, that's an excellent result from Eric.
Abie
Hi abbie,
Thanks for your response:). My website URL is
"https://greenlifehub.com/". I am not sure if I trust Page speed insights frankly. I have shared screenshots of same website, same browser on 2 different tabs side by side.
Site support are saying that it's Javascript and unused CSS issue that's resulting in low score.
Do you know how I can address these "performance" issues on my own with no css, javascript/coding knowledge?
don't worry about those bits -look further down
is it images or java or third party....
until we know those it is really difficult to help you
are there any magic plugins- sort of but not really - it is about learning what not to do...
so it is the host of issues - and if we can deal with them one at a time rather than all of them...
do you use a page builder - do you use a lot if moving graphics or adsense
all of these will slow down your site so think do you really need them ( or do your visitors really need them ( or is it you want them - they couldn't care less about them...)
i'm sure Jay has done a few classes on this - have a browse through the classes.
Thanks for your detailed response:). Yes there are whole host of issue, I do use adsense, my website is showing a lot of ads on each page. It might be that, not sure.
With regards to images, I don't have a set criteria for the images except that they should be in WebP format. Not sure if there is a standard format, resolution etc that I am supposed to use.
I am using generatepress pro theme and plugins for like RankMath SEO Pro, Generate Blocks, GP Premium, Imagify, Simple social Button, Rank Math SEO, Performance lab, WP Consent API, Google Sitekit, Imagify custom site root.
P.S - Some of the articles suggest that I should disable plugins one by one to see which plugin is causing slow speeds or poor web vitals.
adsense will definitely slow your site down - look under the thrid party area for that - if you have a load of ads, unless it is making your loads of money i would suspend this...
switch it off and see if it affects your speed.
webp format should be ok - but even these can be large depending on the size they may affect loading speed...
is there a 'standard format' probably not - use what fits your site - if your featured images are wide format then they will need to be larger than mine which are max 640 pixels...
have you clicked on the extreme sitespeed ( under websites>>sitemanager>>details on the site...)
gp is a good lightweight theme...
never used performance labs - never needed to...
i don't use site kit - have found this can cause issues- even though it is created by google ( so is adsense and that slows your site down)
don't know imagify site root - so can't comment...
if you do go down the route of disabling plugins then use webpagestest as this takes out your browser....
what is your url...
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond:). My website URL is
"https://greenlifehub.com/".
I didn't delete "Performance lab" because it came pre-installed with the website. Should I delete it? I am thinking of installing "WP Rocket" to improve speed but not sure if it's a good idea?
I am not making any money as of now with AdSense, how do I switch it off?
Site speed is set to "Accelerated", should I change it to "extreme"?
What is "webpagestest"?
I agree with you, I believe google isn't always a force for good. Their tools are often confusing and counter-productive. Check what sort of results they have been showing on the same browser in two tabs side by side, then the results Eric got. So confusing and upsetting.
Thanks:)
i tried wp rocket and found it not to be as good as they said- buttons of other have a lot of success with it...
so maybe worth trying
you have tons of ads on your site - not one i would stay long on, sorry...
they also are on your privacy policy and affiliate disclosure - you maybe able to exclude these pages....
and if you can - turn off the comments section to these two pages...
i am not a fan of your contact me page - there are blocks that can add a form ( ultimate blocks plugin i think)
it maybe worth trying flying scripts and add 'adsbygoogle' and 'gtag' to the delay list....
that may speed you up a bit more...
i went to the freezy post and google threw a load of errors - so maybe worth checking this post in search console....
and 7 ads on that post - all the same product...
how does your menu system work - when on the freezy post i cannot use the 'eco friendly' menu as it is directed to that post...
how do i explore your site...
just a few things to look into if you wish....
Thanks for your detailed response Phil:).
"Buttons of others", is that a plugin that does better than WP Rocket?.
All great suggestions, I will turn off comments on those pages. With regards to all the other plugins you suggested, I don't want too many plugins as they slow down the website further.
How do I switch off/modify settings for Google adsense on my website? Do you use it yourself?
If you are not using site kit then whats the alternative.
My navigation menu is not finished yet, I couldn't dedicate time since I signed up due to work and family commitments. I am now going to work on my website.
Thanks for your help:).
Kaleem
really don't know why i said 'buttons of others.'.. should be 'loads of others ' - so maybe worth trying - there is a month or two unsubscribe period...
only poorly coded plugins really slow your site down - i have sites with 20+ plugins - occasionally at major update time they clash or one becomes poorly performing with wordpress...
i used to use adsense - only after i got a load of visitors. they kicked me out for not being able to prove identity...
i think there is a switch within adsense to turn of ads - i cannot get in to my account now...
i use ad inserter to add my analytics code and any other code for the head section - search console, pinterest and other advertisers....
i have training - quite old now but still works - even though it doesn't come up in the search - which maybe worth reviewing...
i started before sitekit appeared and have never trusted it...
on some sites only use search console and use a plugin to show me visitor numbers...
for your menu - think about sections of your niche that you can break it down to - use ai if necessary and ask ' if you visited a site about .... what categories would you expect to see on a good affiliate site' - modify to suit...
and see what it says - you may agree or you may not...
I guess with plugins it's trial and error to see which one work and which ones don't which take time.
I managed to switch off the Adsense for the pages after toying with the settings:).
I will check similar website to see what's their menu like for ideas and inspiration.
Is this the plugin and training your were referring to Phil? Use Ad inserter plugin to control ads on your site Thanks:)
ther is a secret weapon i use called https://plugintests.com, this is not a definitive test - as it says- but give you an ide whether it will play ball with wordpress and extra time added....
try 'all in one seo' for time compared to 'the seo framework'....
but don't look at kraken - most warnings you can ignore, but they may increase the time if they overrun....
well done turning adsense off on those pages - i would prefer to see it off on your site until you are getting visitors...i take it you have also turned off comments on the privacy and affiliate disclosure...
the initial training i did with ad inserter was Google verification in four easy steps if you ignore the bit about all in one and the fact that it is the old google analytics - then the bit about where to put the code is still correct -watched it agian but not listened to it...
but the other one should show how to place ads where you want them....
I will look into that "plugintest.com" thing. I am currently using "Rank Math SEO Pro" plugin for SEO etc. You recon, "all in one seo" is better plugin then rankmath?
I have turned off the comments under those pages but I also need to improve some of these pages still.
Thanks:).
rank math is not liked here as it hogs bandwidth....it may go on the banned list...
do i rate 'all in one' - nope
i use seopress- but if you want it to help you with bits then choose another...seopress is a very quiet seo plugin...
improvement can be done in the future- getting the pages up there with content on and showing the public what you are offering is more important
I don't have personal preference for any SEO plugins as long as it's beginners friendly and good for affiliate marketing business.
i would try seopress then....
been offline for a few days and very intermittent at the moment...
so maybe better next month....

I need to fix JavaScript, render blocking resources and Unused CSS issue. How do I do that without any knowledge of these?
Thanks Abie
They told me to fix JavaScript, render blocking resources and Unused CSS issue. How do I do that without any knowledge of these?
Thanks:).
They gave you options, my friend. Try to Google them and do some troubleshooting. Doesn’t that make sense?
Maxine
Hi Maxine,
Off course it makes sense and I have been searching for this online. Thanks for your input:).

Hello everyone,
I recently joined affiliate program of a company. They provided me with a link that I can use to promote. This business is on a When someone buys somethi
You need to log in to that program dashboard and find out how to obtain and proceed with their links. If you cannot manage it, I suggest you look up the info in their docs or contact their support team.
There is no 1 solution that fits all, except for pasting the qualifying snippet scripts in custom HTML. You'd still have to follow programs' small print, their terms and conditions of affiliation.

Hi abbie,
Thanks for your reply. I did check the affiliate Dashboard to look for help or document but didn't find anything.
I will check again and check my spam/junk folder too to check if they sent any extra email, instructions or documents:).
Thank you once again😄
Hi there
Various affiliate programs have different methods for accessing specific product links.
For example, Amazon has a “SiteStripe” for text links and API access for image links.
Other programs allow you to generate “Deep Links” for specific product promotion.
Check with your affiliate program for specific instructions.

Thank you so mucb for your response. I absolutely agree. All programs have different methods to create or access links.
This program is not very well known so I couldn't find much help online either.
I have sent them email, let's see what they have to say.
Once again thank you 😊.

I'd also suggest seeking advice from a pro.
