Can a website name be too long and how important is it?
My thoughts. The best ones I have seen are 3-4 words, and contain 1 emotive word (best, great, my, your, etc) a descriptor (the site subject, i.e. “basketball”) and an action word (skills, drills, etc). This comes from searching the effect of names of site vs visits/revisits, done by a friend of mine...
Hi Eric
The maximum number of characters you can have in your URL is 255 - that includes the http and the www and the com and the title of the content.
For the actual domain name then short is always good but the max recommendation is 63 characters between the dot of the www and the dot of the dot com
Yes, it can.
Would you rather type out mcdonalds.com or mcdonaldsthebestburgerjointintheworld.com...
What's important is that the domain makes sense for your niche and that it's easily remembered for your visitors. Avoid hyphens and try to get a .com if you can. Things like hyphens can accidentally send your visitors to the wrong website if they omit it. The same with a .org or .biz. Most people assume and automatically type .com.

Yes, it can--I believe 15 characters or less is what I read, but wait and see what other answers you get, Eric!

I am on lesson 10 of section 2 and one of the tasks is to answer a question to give someone some help. I cannot find the unanswered questions and I wonder if the training need
EPaterson, You will need to go to the dashboard and you will see the unanswered questions on the right it will says More Questions & Answers... I had to figure it out myself
Hi,
I see Wallkillrick has answered you, questions are found on your dashboard as per below answer.
I had the same problem recently. IT seems they are using an old platform in the videos.
From the menu under tour profile, you will see a selection for Dashboard Click on that. A list of Questions should pop up in the middle of the screen. In the top right hand corner you will see 2 tabs, One is Unanswered . Click that.
How to get to unanswered questions?
