So why is it I can't post my site content here? its mine and I can use it where I like....

You cannot copy it to here. It’s classed as duplicate content.
You can make it similar.

you can write a similar article on the same topic - The secret is similar not duplicate.

You must use different wording and don't just respin the content or it will seem like duplicate content and will hurt your website because WA has high authority.

Just remember that when you are writing the content within
WA it needs to be helpful to the community and not for the purpose of promoting your blog or affiliate products. You are writing about a topic related to the topics within this website - not about a completely separate niche.

Like all blog posts - it needs to help people (not be for the benefit of trying to send WA members to your website or links).

The benefit of blogging within WA on content that is related to online marketing and making money from websites is that the authority of this website gives your article a SEO boost. This can help you if someone finds the article through google as they will need to signup to read it and you will get a referral automatically.

Hope this clarifies things for you a little better.

cheers

What I tried to post wasn't on my blog. Was on a forum.

You can write content but you can't link to that forum within the content. This is self promotion.

However, if you are trying to link to WA from a forum, then the forum may be blocking it.

Not 100% sure what you are trying to copy to and from.

From a fan forum called tigerfan.com. I know the owner. He doesn't care what I do with what I write.

Thanks KerryAnn. Very helpful

That's what I would like to know. If I wrote it I own it. I should be free to do anything I want with my own words.

You're right Kevin. You can do what you like with it, but the system unfortunately has it's own set of rules. Jim

If it has already been published elsewhere it will not post through site content because it shows as duplicate or plagiarized content. If it is still posted in another place it will also be of zero benefit to you to have it on more than one site.

If I originally published it on a forum I don't care any benefits.
