Hello everyone. This is David. I have a very big question to ask of the members who have already created many websites here. I AM TALKING TO YOU TOO KYLE! :) Anyways, I have pu

Hi David -- as a graphic design pro I can tell you that marketing and branding are really important for your site's success. Certainly along with your site's functionality and content, you need it to look professional and relevant to your industry.
It would not be appropriate for me to solicit my design services here, so perhaps you can find someone who can design a logo for you at a reasonable cost. There is no reason why you should have to do it all yourself. We are not all experts in web design, html coding, troubleshooting, article-writing, photography, graphic design and video editing. Sometimes we need help...! Good luck...!

It's your website. You can outsource whatever you need/can afford to.

But don't put the cart before the horse. You can always make the site more aesthetic.

It's new and not established, so content is a top priority while you sort the other details out.

Just be careful outsourcing content. Plenty of cheap, lousy options out there to go with cheap, decent ones. ;)

Good luck.

Wow Chris. I want to say thank you for your time you took to help me. You were very helpful. I want to say thank you and I also want to wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

You're welcome.

Fishing brings back memories. :) Heading out to the lake at 4:00 AM with my late uncle as a kid. Ahhh, the good old days.

You can strive for perfection, but don't let it hold you back.

Best wishes for your success.

Yes, you can assign categories for your posts and put the categories into the menu.

WOW! You were a big help! Thanks! May I let Kyle know? What would be sufficient payment?

I need to find free for commercial use images of fishing lures. Where would I find that? I have found some but they are not the lures I want to review and I am having trouble f

Try Pixaby. They have photos and graphics and illustrations etc.
It's free and no attribution is required.

www.pixabay.com or I pay a small fee and buy from Adobe it gives me a certain amount of images per month. I also take a lot of my own with a Canon.

Hello,
I can relate to your experience. Some companies have only a few free images and others you may like more, you may have to purchase them. I started taking my own pictures recently, which may be an option for you if you have a camera that takes good pictures. Maybe you can research companies that offer examples of free pictures and view the free pictures they have in your category.

Ask the manufacturers or distributors for images. Most will have plenty of stock images for their affiliates to use.

be careful where you get them from, i always use stockunlimited which is only $9 a month and they cover your legal ass.

What if my website fails? What happens to my initial wealthy affiliate investment? I am just concerned that if my site does not take off, I might be out of pocket and out of ho

We all feel the uncertainty with this, however you have to push yourself to achieve the best you can and learn from your failures too.

That is a question we all ask ourselves. What if? What if you wanted something bad enough you would do whatever it takes to get it? Do you want your site to succeed? Of course, we all do but are you willing to put the work in to see it through?

The investment you made was an investment towards your future success. You will only fail if you allow yourself to. Your success is relative to how much work you are willing put into it, in other words, you get what you put into it.

Fear is a tool used by the enemy to make you think you can't do it. The answer is simple......... prove him wrong.

I know the fear of uncertainty. But this is the nature of business. If every single thing we tried succeeded there would be no need for a website and community like Wealthy Affiliate.

The fact that we are all part of this community shows you that there is a risk, that not everything succeeds every single time. I can mention all the anecdotes like the failures of Thomas Edison before he got the right formula for the light bulb etc. but these do not get rid of fears.

All I can tell you is that if you really work hard, and stay positive, you will find the space that works for you and all this risk will have been worth it.

If the website you are currently doing does not work, can it and try another one, in a different niche. Most of all don't let fear keep you from your dreams.

That is where your resolve will be tested. I invested in at least 5 websites before I hit on a niche that worked. In this line of work you will inevitably face obstacles. Those who let those obstacles prevent them from continuing on their journey will never reach their destination and find success.

Your best chance at success is to learn as much as possible from the members and the training here, and apply the things you learn to your site. Don't be afraid to accept criticism and always stay open minded.

If you have any specific questions about building your website, just send me a message :)

Best of luck.

I understand that I should write content relevant to my niche, but what does this consist of? I am stuck wondering what topic to start off on let alone create quality material.

In your niche think of what people would like to know. Here is an example, if I wanted to visit Switzerland, I`d like to know about outdoors, transportation system, places to go etc.
If I`m a new dog owner, I`d like to know how to stop my dog peeing on the carpet, how to stop the dog chewing carpets, where to buy dry dog food ETC.
Now you mention your niche is fishing, best seasons to fish, where to fish in your area, fishing rods, where to buy fishing rods, how to choose etc.
Hope this answers your question

Well, what's your niche?

My niche is fishing. You know. Use a rod with line and hook to reel in fish.

Great. So that's a wide open niche with thousands of topics to write about. I can count on one hand all the times I've been fishing, but off the top of my head I can come up with topics you can write about.

You can write endless product reviews on any number of rods, reels, lures, lines, bait equipment, even boats. You can write endless articles on fishing tips for newbies, mid level fisherman, experts. You can write articles on understanding the fish you're going after. You can write about the differences between saltwater fishing, freshwater fishing, and deep sea fishing...

And those are just off the top of my head and I don't fish. You got this! Just think about what interests you and write :)

WOW! This helps a LOT! So topics are basically whatever my preferences are?

You're the author. The more topics you write about and the more articles you post in the niche, the more chances you have of getting traffic and commissions. Make it a goal to have 100 posts out there. Think of each post you write as a hook with bait on it. The training here teaches you the best fishing spots. Without the training u can put a ton of hooks out there but u may not be putting them where the fish are biting. With the training it's like you're with an expert guide and he's putting you in the right spot. And just like with fishing, it just takes patience and putting more and more hooks out there in prime spots and you'll start catching your target audiences attention, and they'll start biting :)

While writing these, must I still focus on a single low competition keyword inside with the rest written naturally?

Sure. You're going to want to follow what Kyle talks about in his keyword research lessons. Choose a main keyword with decent traffic and low competition. That'll be the topic of your post and it should appear in your title, your url, in your first paragraph, and then sprinkled naturally throughout the article. Choose a different solid keyword using these guidelines for each post you write and you're putting quality bait on those hooks :)

About how much times should the keyword be present in the article? How much do you usually do?

Just let it flow naturally like Kyle says. If you have Yoast SEO it'll tell you that 1-2% is great. Just let if flow naturally.
