Website Sold For $30,000

I had no plans to sell any of my sites but the guy who bought my site last year for $40,000 emailed this week and asked if I had anything to sell.

I showed him a website I started last May and we negotiated a bit and decided on $30,000. It was a good deal so I took it.

Pretty crazy. I was not expecting that.

This site was done with the best of strategy I've been talking about for a while now. These Amazon sites have a high resale value because they're easy to manage and you can update the articles so they last for years.

I've been working on a make money from home site since early December and I hired a writer to work on another "best of" site.

Now I'm just going to focus on growing these sites now and I might make a course on making Amazon sites. I've never made a course before so I'd have to look into how that's done.

If you're struggling my advice is to study affiliate sites that are already successful and just copy their keyword strategy. I don't mean take their keywords but study the type of keywords they use.

For example, if you're in the make money at home niche you'll want to spend 90% of your time writing reviews of different courses. It's proven to work. There's no guess work here.

If you're in a niche like outdoors or any niche with physical products over $100 you'll want to do best of posts.

It's really simple. I do nothing special besides targeting the right keywords. That's it. No backlinks. No blogger outreach. No email marketing. No buying traffic. No social media traffic. None of that.

Best of's and reviews convert so that's what I stick to. You'll get the same results if you can use the right keyword strategy in the right niche.

So if you're making no money start writing best of's and reviews for six months straight and see what happens. I guarantee if you spend 2 hours a day doing this you'll make money and you can have a site worth $30,000 or $40,000 or $50,000 faster than you expect.

If you can get a website to make $3,000 a month for more than 6 months in a row it's worth $100,000. You can get to $3,000 a month in probably 100 different niches if you write reviews and best of's.

I hope you got something out of this post and I hope you start making sales!

Congratulations Dillon!!!

A repeat customer is proof that you are building solid websites. Had you bought traffic, used a lot of shortcuts, or questionable techniques - the guy would not have come back. Not that I doubted you... But repeat customers are the greatest compliment a business can receive.

As usual, thanks for sharing the good solid advise. I'm getting closer to actually focusing on my online businesses and following your advise.

Nice ;-)

Enjoyed reading and thanks for this,
