Website Work - It has to be done.
So many things can keep me from working on my website. Beautiful spring weather demands a drive to the ocean in my convertible. Interesting news stories jump out of magazines and seem to require reading. And then, there are reality TV shows .... especially those that involve the outdoors. I have to spend time assessing their authenticity. These distractions are in addition to the things that are done daily for my family and my home.
But the huge amount of rain we have in California this winter, has given me new energy to address several issues with my website. I am in need of good, interesting images for my articles and some fresh ideas for article content. There are about two dozen products I want to test and review. As well, I am hoping to begin to add some interviews to my website. There is a great deal of work to be done.
Today, I am taking my boat in for a tune-up. In another week, I will attack all these work issues with great resolve. When I chose my niche, I was aware of the time it would take to research and assess venues and products, but I under estimated the technical expertise needed to lend authority to my posts. I had not thought about keeping up to date with innovations in my niche. And so, I am prepared to start fishing.. regularly, consistently, intentionally.... toward building my business, Lure Mart. I can only guess at how many hours I am going to have to spend on the water to do all the things that need to be done.
I may get sunburned. My hat might blow off. I might stick myself with a fishhook. Its even possible that my anchor will get stuck. But I intend to make Lure Mart a household word .... well, two household words. I hope you can sense my resolve as well as my excitement and my renewed commitment to building my business. No matter what it takes, I am going to keep on fishin'!

Good luck! Sounds like a great situation you're in, promoting and "working" in something that you really love!
Sounds like a catchy business name too!
Awesome Jim, you are on a winner there a real brandible name. all the best. Just getting back into fishing and I am simply amazed at the variety and ways the new breeds of lures work.
Just waiting for the dogwoods to bloom, I will be at the lake waiting for something to jump out of the water while I relax in my easy chair with a drink.
Do you need a detailed report.
