Using the New Feedback Feature at WA
Kyle and Carson and their team of techs are just freakin' AMAZING! One night you go to sleep and the next morning you wake up to all new tools that you can use in your already overflowing internet marketing, google ranking, website building basket! Woohooo
I love the new feedback feature they recently added under the SiteRubix tab--it allows members to earn credits towards having others review your website...ingenius!! And it even has a stat bar showing your website health and the things that you need to work on in obtaining good ranking within google.
Just a little bit of advice for those who are interested in building credits reviewing other member's sites in order to spend credits in receiving the necessary and beneficial feedback from others:
- Spend time looking over another's website, checking product links and checking for proper spelling and grammar--it's so easy to overlook spelling and grammatical errors when you are the person writing the content. Sometimes fresh eyes are needed from SOMEONE ELSE to see what you haven't seen or are reading over and over again and assuming is correct because you know that content so well.
- Give a review that is encouraging but also honest. This is a pay-it-forward system, so the time that you spend on someone else's site will be the time that another member will spend on yours. There is a 250 character count minimum before your review can be submitted, which is quite easy to accomplish if you are giving thorough feedback. You get 1 credit for each site you review and you spend 2 credits each time you ask for a review...sooo, you get back what you GIVE. Lol.
- Don't get too technical because most are new to internet marketing and website building and may get completely lost or feel overwhelmed when you are using words and terms that they are not familiar with. Be aware of that and offer help with the topic you are discussing if you feel they may not understand where you are coming from, especially if it appears they are brand new to website building.
- MOST IMPORTANTLY...take just a few moments to leave a comment on the person's site you are reviewing. Google is paying attention to how the traffic you are receiving is interacting with you and your site, which is evidenced by the amount of comments you are receiving and the effort you are making to respond to those comments. This assists in the overall health of your site! Your comment doesn't have to be detailed, a simple, "hey looks like you have been working hard!" or "great job with what you have accomplished so far" or even a "your site offers information that really helped me on this topic". It doesn't have to be long and drawn out, just basic, because just a basic comment on one's sight is sooooo very helpful and beneficial!I
I hope everyone takes the opportunity to check out this new feature! Even if you are a newbie and don't have a website yet ready for feedback, take the time to give feedback to others, as it not only benefits them, but it also benefits you by getting first hand knowledge of what site building and the internet ranking system is all about!
Thanks WA team!
Namaste,
Dorie

I agree...this is really a fantastic idea. However, I noticed that my site is not getting all of the feedback. For example I have requested and received 10 feedbacks and replied to them. But on my actual site, I only have 3. So, even though people are commenting on my site, it's not registering there.
Hi Allan! That's the same experience I am having, and hence why I suggested that when one reviews a web site on WA that they also place a comment on that person's website so as to help generate better rankings with google. It only takes a few minutes more to make a small comment on someone's site in order to help them out a bit more!
Thanks Allan!
That's a great idea too. I found another training area specifically for requesting comments and it's been working pretty well, especially when offered as a quit pro quo. : )

There are actually three other blog areas for requesting comments. I got these from another member that's been around awhile.

This sounds really cool. I will have to take a look at it when I can find some time.... maybe in June.... LOL
I was wondering about this as well, you leave a comment on the site as some feedback....where do you leave your review...have not tried this out yet...here in the discussion, or does it go where you offer feedback, also do you chose a site to review??? Apparently you have tried this feature out, inquiring minds want to know...Lol
Lol, yes I have tried it several times and it is very laid out for you with easy directions to follow...all the info is found under the 'feedback' tab that is located on under the new siterubix tag on the left of our WA landing page.
Yes, I know where its at, I was wondering what to expect...Lol.. Thanks I will just have to click it and go from there:))
It is certainly a great feature. It makes sense as well. Just don't know where to find the accumulative credit as you review the sites. My credits remains the same.
.
If you go to the airplane symbol at the top right of your screen and look under stats, you should find your credits there. :)
Doris thanks but I believe that is where you find your other credits but not the credit you find for these reviews. Should not total up with the credits I earn for example bringing a member in for trial?
Aha, you are correct sir! I mistakenly assumed that those were the same credits! I need to do some more research into finding where those feedback credits are! Great question! Thank you!

I've tried to leave feedback and it prompts me to create an email with Gravatar, has this happen to you? I created an email through them and I still cannot get to leave feedback for others because of this. Is there something i'm missing? HELP
Hi Joyce
Hope this will help you ;) How to Create a Gravatar Account Regards,
