Topical Authority and Hubs
So, I have written about topical authority several times, but it's worth repeating for anybody who doesn't understand its importance.

Now that we have hubs, they are going to give you a helping hand to build up this necessary authority.
Within your hub, you have a Website Structure & Organization.
And under that, Categories and Potential Posts.
Each category has 10 potential posts.
Ideally, pick one category only to start with, and write all of those first posts on that same topic.
Don't continually switch categories and pick completely random posts.
You need to build up authority on one small aspect of your niche, before scaling out to a different category.
Let's say your niche is Home Improvement and in your hub, you have the following categories.
DIY Home Renovation Tips
Budget Interior Decorating
Kitchen Remodeling Ideas
Bathroom Upgrades
Eco-Friendly Home Solutions
Smart Home Technology
Outdoor Living Spaces
Energy-Efficient Insulation
Home Security Systems
Basement Finishing
You might decide your first post is going to be on Bathroom Upgrades.
Now, stick to that category!
Don't suddenly flit to kitchen remodeling or home security.
Write all of the suggested posts in the bathroom upgrade category.
If necessary, ask for more posts within that category, to build up your authority quicker, I prefer at least 20 on the same topic.
You Are Google's Employee!
Another way to look at this is to realize that we are all employed by Google.
Google has the power to dismiss us if we are not doing a good enough job.
So, using the niche as above, think of it that Google has employed you to write about bathroom upgrades.
Now, as in any new job, you have to prove yourself and demonstrate what you can do.
Show Google that they were right to trust you to do this job, and let Google reward you with good rankings!
But, if you suddenly start writing about kitchens, then Google might think, hang on, that's not what I hired you for!
And then, in effect, you have to start again, to prove that you are now an authority on kitchen remodeling.
In real-world terms, would you hire a bathroom expert to remodel your kitchen?
A bit far-fetched, maybe, to think of Google in these terms, but hopefully it helps you to understand.

I have thought a lot about this and taken direct steps to authority.
I was reading from Google that authorities don´t rank sites higher (=they don´t do it formally), but there was a big But!
For me, it added the feeling, and more and less, we are in trends about the names, but all mean the same, just a different method.
What I mean is that in authority, you focus on answering just one question but do it very well. But I believe you need a bigger post about your niche first. Here is Home Improvement.
When you are using cluster or similar, you are building with another method of authority. The benefit of using modern authority is that you have so many posts.
I use it, but I made the mistake of having too many niches on my site. The reason was that I was trying to have things to sell all year. That means I need now to share posts between ca 5. It takes a longer time, but hopefully, it will benefit in the longer run.
But like I say, I think all these methods have the same direction, getting the "title" authority and expert in this or that. Are I wrong?
Another good post Diane, proving that a post doesn’t have to be long to be useful. I like these short and sweet but to the point and informative posts. I always try to pass on information in a way that makes it easier to understand and bite size posts like this are really helpful 👍

Now that I am aware of this simple process made available in hubs, I was able to write 10 articles in about an hour.
Now I just need to put in the finishing touches before publishing them.
These updates are making this affiliate marketing business more efficient.
All this being made available for a very affordable cost.
No other platform like it.
Hubs, Website Structure, Categories, 10 potential articles per category, add to task, write the article, use the AI system, choose your word selection and writing method, article written, add your final touches, links, personalize it, publish.
All this can be done on a part time basis that leads to a solid and lucrative online marketing business.
All we really need to do is, follow the training and ask questions.
