Beware credit card users!!!
When something 'negative' happens to me in my life that i know could easily happen to other unsuspecting people, i do my best to alert them. Then they can't say they were not warned,& therefore have no excuse if they have the same problem as me.After much research & reading about WA,i made the decision to give it a try,at least for the first free 7 days,& then the next $19 month from June 28th to July 28th.If i wanted to continue my membership from July 29th on,at either $47/month or $359/year,i understood that it was totally up to me to renew & be charged,to my credit card i used for the $19 fee,for either $47 or $359.Well,as it turned out, about a week before July 29th,i sent Kyle a personal email explaining my situation & that i was not going to renew my membership & stay with WA & their program.I expressed no animosity & said nothing derogatory about Kyle,Carson,WA, or the community. It just didn't turn out to be what i was looking for, needed, & wanted,so i thought it was in my best interest to move on since i will not invest my very limited funds in something that i just don't want or need, or really even have an interest in.So i figured, okay, that's that, move on and keep looking, don't give up on your goals & dreams,& see if you can find something that will serve you better, which i am doing very earnestly.
Well, today i went online to check my banking info, and low & behold, there was a $47 charge posted on 7/29/2014 from WA,that need i say,i NEVER authorized!! I immediately sent an email to the WA billing dept.,as well as forwarding the msg to both Kyle & Carson.I am currently awaiting a response from someone.I also went back online to my bank and put in a 'dispute charge' with them. Now i don't know if this has happened to anyone else or if it is a regular practice of WA,but i am pretty darn sure i didn't make a mistake or do anything wrong.Maybe it is a one-time,first-time occurrence due to the innocent & unintentional oversight of one of WA's most reputable, honest,& trusted employees,or owners, because i am not overlooking any & all possibilities.I do know it happened, and i do know it is wrong & causing me much unwanted & uncalled for duress.I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER RIGHT NOW!!!
I only hope that this will be resolved in a very timely & professional manner by whomever has the responsibility & authority to do so within the WA structure. And i hope that if any of you out there who have a credit card on file with WA,you will monitor the charges on it very closely, especially if you decide not to stay with WA & continue to put money in their pockets! I surely would not want any of you fine people to have to go through this same experience, all due to the lack of competent, honest, trustworthy,& professional WA employees,or owners, again because i am not overlooking any & all possibilities.
I wish you and your loved ones the best of everything life has to offer, and in all you pursue, and i hope WA continues to bless you & provide you with whatever it is you want & need to be successful with your businesses and finances. And if anyone finds this offensive in any way,it wasn't intended that way,so,OH WELL,DEAL WITH IT!!
With much consideration,
Dennis

Dennis, my thoughts are meant only to possibly be helpful to you. If they are not please just ignore them. As Bazboy247 explained below stopping the billing is a simple and quick procedure and is our responsibility. I noticed in your blogs you referred to a desire to stabilize your life and your family's future but that on July 11 and 13th you sounded very happy at and with WA. Success at WA, like elsewhere in life, can be difficult and at times very frustrating. If success was easy everyone would have it. Sometimes we just need to dig a little deeper, take a deep breath, regroup and make a fresh push instead of looking for a better mate, a better job or a better opportunity. I can assure you that the $47 will not make or break Kyle and Carson so try to be sure your are doing what is really best for you and your family. With best wishes to you and your family.

Thanks for the reply and feedback Harold. I believe i have done what is required by WA, that i had no knowledge of before, to cancel my membership. I have not given up on my goals, dreams, wanting to better my financial status, taking better care of & providing for my family, etc. I realized what WA was really for ---- people who have a business to promote or an idea of a business to promote & make income off of. I know one can always promote WA if they would like, as a possible way to make money, but when i posed the question to the community regarding people doing that & the results they were having, i only received a few 'negative' replies. So, because of that & the fact that i don't have a business to promote, or any ideas or plans for a business, i felt it was in my best interest to seek out my needs & wants elsewhere. I just think that back prior to 7/29 when i emailed Kyle personally & explained my situation, it would have been a kind, caring, responsible, & professional thing to do, if he had reminded me of what to do in the event that i definitely wanted to cancel my membership. It is a matter of principle, not "making or breaking" anyone. The $47 won't break me either, it is just an unexpected & unwanted expense that is causing me problems & inconvenience. I accept my responsibility & not knowing what i needed to do to cancel, or not asking to make sure. All i can do now is wait to see what they do, do what is needed once they make their decision, and move on with pursuing my life, goals, dreams, etc., etc.
I do wish you well, however I think there are equally many like me who had no experience or a business to promote, but I found my own niche, best of luck for the future
Dennis, I have no dog in this hunt and I feel sure Kyle and Carson are going to be fine so my only interest is in trying to be helpful to you. In my opinion this is a very important step in your life...and it is not about the $47. Kyle and Carson came to believe early in their career that the more people they help the more their business will grow and therefore, if managed well, the more money they will make. Spending time figuring out a way to get another monthly fee is too time consuming and non-productive for people focused on helping others. With the WA approach, Dennis, you do not have to "have a product". Almost every product sold will pay an affiliate commission. What is absolutely required though, for long range success, is that you accept TOTAL responsibility for yourself, your business, your expenses and your welfare. We cannot change anyone else, only our self. Before we go into ANY business relationship we need to look at two things. The first is how do we get in and the 2nd is how do we get out. I don't have a single feeling that makes me want to put you down or criticize you. I just think this could be a more crucial point in your life than you are aware and hope you will make the decision that is truly best for you and your family. Best wishes to you.

This is a normal practice and you need to notify your credit card company and they need at least 7 days notice your changing, if both parties are not notified in plenty of time the system generates an automatic payment I am sure it will be resolved and your money refunded, have not heard anyone having problems, this is why I do not used credit card to do this sort of thing I use paypal cause you are in control and can cancel directly yourself
Thanks for the reply. I believe i have the answers i needed and now understand everything that occurred. I will wait for a reply from WA to see what they say & do, and then proceed from there. You can read my other replies if you would like to get further info & my thoughts on what occurred.
Most companies has this practice of applying a automatically monthly recur payment. They will not tell you and so as your bank will not tell you about this recur monthly payment that has been set up without you knowing it.
It becomes your own responsibility to cancel it if you do not want to continue. (I know, if you don't know about it, how would you cancel it.)
Whether you will get a refund is entirely up to their policy.
This is a bad business practice, and there is nothing we can do about it.
They can say they do no wrong because everyone is doing it and it became a normal business practice.
So just be careful next time when you sign up on anything.
Have a nice day.
Thanks for your reply and thoughts. Please read my other replies to 'bazboy247' & 'hmasters', if you would like to get more info, read my thoughts & plans, etc., etc.
In order to stop the billing, all you have to do is go to your profile and click on your account, there is a tab to stop billing and membership
E mailing Kyle will not work, as you have to use the tab in your account to stop the billing it takes only seconds to do
So go to your profile and click on my account there you will see the billing tab and you can stop all billing in seconds, very simple
They have made it very simple to stop membership of both WA and jaaxy should you want to stop the membership
Hope this helps
Barry
Thanks Barry. I did what you said, so hopefully that will take care of everything. I just wish that someone would have made me aware of that earlier. I had no idea that is what i had to do. Kyle could have told me that back prior to 7/29 when he replied to my email then, but he did not. I don't think that was being very considerate, professional, or caring. They say they really care about others, and he knows my personal situation & what i am looking for, but i think it was a personal issue with him ----- keep all the members he can so he and WA look good with the success figures ----- instead of being caring & sensitive towards me & reminding me of what i needed to do should i definitely want to cancel my membership. I accept my responsibility & the fact that i failed to see the tabs & info on how to cancel, or asking to make sure of everything. That is on me.
As Barry said you only have to go to Account Settings on your profile page and cancel your membership. If you have any issues with cancelling your account OR ANYTHING ELSE try asking a question in the question box and I am sure you will find the answer there. Ranting in a blog post is not the way to go when you could fix it yourself without PMing Kyle or Carson. ~Marion

Just for the record, as stated in my profile, I quit once and had absolutely NO problem with billing. It stopped immediately. The only thing I can think of is that it was an issue with timing of the billing as I can tell you that I have had a problem with other companies. There was a month lag which did NOT make me happy. Based on my experience, I believe this will be resolved to your satisfaction.
