Christmas is here and what a present I received
Living here in Thailand we have already experienced Christmas morning. Actually in our family we had our dinner yesterday as our son-in-law had to work today.
Yes, Christmas in Thailand is not a holiday. Traditionally Christmas is not celebrated here. However, commercialism has latched on to the day and Christmas is definitely celebrated in the shopping malls. One thing Thailand has an abundance of is shopping malls. (Best place to get free air con). Also Thais are very generous on a local/family level, constantly sending things to each other as the years go by. Therefore it is not much of a stretch to add another day of gift-giving into the calendar.
This year I received an opportunity to make my life better. A chance to improve myself, financially, and to grow personally. It is not often that we can do both of these things at the same time. Wealthy Affiliate gave me this opportunity. However it is up to me how I choose to use this gift.
Leave it on the shelf and it will not grow, I will not improve. I have to take the initiative and utilise the tools provided to make improvements.
Everyone here at Wealthy Affiliate, know what I am talking about already. In my hands Wealthy Affiliate has the potential to change my life. Wealthy Affiliate is a boulder sitting on a hill, a fully charged battery. If I do not set the boulder in motion, or connect the battery nothing will happen. A pump that is not primed will not pump any water. (Thanks Mike).
Yes, I will learn, because ultimately, that is what Wealthy Affiliate is - a learning platform, a university if you will. But, like any other training, if I do not use it to make posts, to monetise my website, than that is what I will have gained, learning. A degree is only useful to a graduate if it is applied in real life.
Now, please do not misunderstand, learning, like travel is never wasted. Travel opens our eyes to what else is out there in the world. Learning allows us to see what else we many be capable of ourselves.
I want to thank Wealthy Affiliate for being here and for allowing me to see what I am capable of.
