Comments only in comments please!
In some of the articles I have posted recently on my sites, I have requested comments from the WA community. Most are really good, so thank you for that everybody!
However, in a few instances, people have been commenting on site design, layout, etc, or mentioning that they are a fellow WA member.
Whilst I appreciate constructive criticism, this should be commented upon via site comments. I do not really want this kind of comment in my regular articles. Likewise, I am happy to hear from WA members about their experiences on the platform, but my article comments is not the place to do this.
I guess this is a case of training, in particular new members, about the etiquette of comments.

I think its a learning curve especially for people who are new to the community. I get the odd one like that but for the most part the comments I receive are very well written.
I guess they are over excited and maybe arent reading everything. So I guess we need to encourage people to just take a breath, step back and look at the big picture around them.
This was a very good post

Absolutely agree! I am also having the same problem. Even if they are members, they have to take the time to read the instructions, as set out by Loes.
This is an ongoing smoothing issue. But fortunately you can reject this folks which I do regularly. People just don’t read. But fortunately now site comments rewards good commenters and penalizes the ones that fail to follow directions. So hopefully this gets better now that people can earn cash credits for site comments if they follow directions and are consistent.
Yes, and please don't leave a comment on a product review telling people which store has the item cheap; that's not helping anyone earn a living through affiliate links.
As long as there are coming in new members, we seem to have to repeat this. People are not taking the effort to check the requirements, it's there and very clear.
Thanks for sharing, I also get many great comments, and its hard to just delete a not good comment when I get it telling me that I should do this and that..
Last time I got one of this type of comment, it was hard for me to delete it, as I know it takes time and work to leave a comment, and I didn't want to disappoint the person who left a comment.
It's good to share this point, comments should keep as comment, and when anyone see something it could be better on a website... send a PM to the owner of the website.
Have a great day
