Amazon associates application programming interface (paapi)?

Hi Aris,
I'm really surprised they would go into that much detail about their API in the associates training. I say this because what the API stands for is Application Programming Interface and is always used by programmers to create applications. And in your text I'm reading about mobile programming using the API.
No wonder your eyes started to gloss over. Unless you have spent years programming you would never understand what they are saying.
Honestly you can just read through this section and only focus on the areas that let you know what you shouldn't do. I think they include it so that if you were to higher a programmer to do anything you would have an understanding of what they want.

Hi Glen,
Thanks for the detailed response. I suspected this was more to do with the idea of using their content in an app (which is not my intention), however what I find concerning is that it says "You will not... use any Product Advertising Content on or in connection with any site... designed or intended for use with a mobile phone" etc.
I don't have an app, but I'm not sure whether or not this permits me to use their Product Advertising Content on my site. As you know, all our WordPress come with mobile-responsive designs.
Aris
I don't think that was the intention of that statement. Mobile Responsive is not the same as a mobile app.
