My heart is broken, I am still shocked, the demons, devils seem to becoming faster. We have to keep compassion in our hearts because that is who we are.

This is not the first time and maybe not the last we have to learn from these mistakes of others even if we don't like it.

We can not stoop to their level, we must stay focused, and hope these young children/kids will be safe from the evil soon

I feel far removed from these events, but inasmuch as 'no man is an island',I am still waiting for my anger and sadness to be replaced by hope.

Very well put David. Our hearts go out once again to the victims and our prayers to the survivors. Will we ever learn, or are we doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over again? I have to believe there is hope for us yet.

I appreciate your writing more than my words can express. there is so much evil, but "love conquers a multitude of sins." My prayers are that every family member and friend of the deceased would be covered with the comfort of God's unfathomable love. And, like the tallit (shawl) that Jesus wore, it would engulf all the people affected by this tragedy with His Shalom.
