Problems with your Site speed? There is a great image compression tool to help you!
Hey wonderful WA community!!
Do you have problems with Site Speed? Are some of your posts slower than others according to Site Speed?
Most of the time the problem is related to image files being too large. Especially if you take screenshots and include them in your post.
A while back, I found, through another WA member, this great little FREE tool called tiny png.
You can access it at: https://tinypng.com
Just drag & drop your image and it will be compressed by as much as 70%.
I use it before I add any image in my media library. It really does the trick and your Site Speed will benefit from it greatly.
But just don't take my word for it, go ahead and try it!

Good afternoon Denis,
I remember that about 1 year ago I also had problems with Site Speed. It turned out that a lot of the photos I had on my posts were not standard.
I redid all the photos, I normally have them large and now all is ok.
This can often happen when one uses private photos.

I had the same problem Taetske.
Since I started compressing every images prior to posting them my site speed is always green. :)
