I have changed some of my post titles, yet my permalink remained with the old title. I understand this is the address for the post on my site, and the settings are set for cust
Be careful when changing permalinks. It's basically going to signal to Google that it's a whole new post and you'll be building your rank for that post all over.
The post never ranked, I'm trying to learn what I did wrong, in writing and keywords, 11 months ago, ships sinking. Thank You for the response, These things I should know.
David - the title of your post and your permalink are separate entities.
To change the permalink: open the post for editing and near the top you'll see 'Permalink' with 'Edit' next to it. Click on 'Edit' and type or paste in your new permalink then click OK.

Not sure if your post or page is ranked. If so please do not touch your permalink as you will cause a 404. If it isn't ranked and is a new post then you can edit.
Try to leave the permalinks alone if you can. They will cause a 404 otherwise. You can update old posts if you like but leave the permalink alone.

If you add keywords, and update old posts, as well as add more content, will it help that posts rankings over time? I made a lot of keyword and other mistakes that lead to horr
No they rank over time and for multiple keywords not just one. Make your changes and be sure to submit them for indexing again to signal to Google that they've been updated.

can you not add the code into your all in one seo verification panel -as you do for google?

I ended up just adding header script to my genesis theme and that worked. But thank you anyhow.
as long as that won't be deleted in the next update you will be alright - my preference is to add it to aio.

I watched the introduction video but it never showed how to add or submit or configure it.
Oh I Guess I asked The Wrong Question, How Do I verify Site Ownership, i though i had to submit my site map but it wont let me even get that far, how frustrating.
