Host a Give-away For Site Comments.
Just an idea I want to try, and share with WA to see what you think. I have used Site Comments, and its great that we have this available, but honestly, I don't always get what I give.
My Idea was to purchase a cool new product, around $25-$30, then have a give away to one lucky winner. All that would be required is that they leave a comment about something keyword specific on my site, or on a post I create to generate feedback. I think this way I might be able to get comments on a post that are more targeted by me.
I have not tried this yet, but It seems like It's worth a try. I think because of my niche which is vape mods, comments might be difficult, yet vapers love cool new products. I would promote this through various facebook groups and Instagram. Let me know what you think even If you think its a waste of money.

How much time would it take you to generate the traffic to get a conversion into a comment? Would you spend more time doing that or more time using Sitecomments. Comments are good, but I'd put my focus on generating traffic for a sale. Why not do all that work to generate a sale rather than giving away product, and generating nothing in exchange.
A comment doesn't suggest that they're a qualified or warm lead, so it sounds like the campaign idea would be a brand awareness campaign, and I wouldn't advise a solely brand awareness campaign this early in your startup journey. That's my opinion. Focus on sales and profit. Comments are a nice metric, but, I wouldn't do that.
Hopefully, you make the best choice for you though. It's your experience, so maybe you know better than me how this will lead to an optimal business metric aside from SEO. If you're spending $25-$30 to get a comment to improve your SEO, it may be better to get paid traffic.
Thank you, very good points, and you're absolutely right. It might be a better Idea once I've received a free promo or something similar.
But I still want to try it sooner or later, it seems like an interesting alternative to paid traffic.
I think it works well to boost engagement once you have traffic, but if you don't have traffic, you'll have to do lead gen in order to do the giveaway. From what you were saying, it sounds like you're expecting to do quite a bit to get the traffic. It's definitely a great idea. I think it's best for once you're traffic is there. My opinion.
