You could reach out to Kyle in a DM and ask him, as he and Carson would be the ones to ask this question of rather than members who have no say nor access to making changes to the banners.

I agree with Carla, but I would also message them to explain why you're not approving them.
Sometimes these are newbies who don't really understand what is required.
I believe that's the only way they'll learn to do it right.
And if they're not new, well, shame on them and you have every right to disapprove the comment.

I've had the same problem. Every time I request comments through Site Comments, I get loads of poor quality comments. It's rather discouraging. People are just commenting to earn credit and hardly even read the article they're commenting on. Just keep deleting those, because you shouldn't have to waste your credits on poor comments and those people shouldn't get credit either.

That happened to me as well. It was because the email I had with my wordpress account was used as the admin email. When I changed the user to my name (adding a new user) you’ll have to enter another email. Therefore, if you’re using another user from the one you started with, you’ll need to make a new gravitar account with that specific email.

I was curious as to whether it makes much difference if I just keep publishing at wait for Google to find me and index my posts or shall I fetch anyway and tell google I'm here
In most cases Google will index you fairly quickly, however sometimes the indexing takes time. I only ask for this to be done when it hasn't automatically happened within a few weeks. Jim

when you go to supply a comment do you have it recogize your email address and put your image there from your gravatar - there is a little previous button to the right - if you click on that can you see any other emails you might have used and do they work?
or as Diane says - check your gravatar account as you are looking a shadow of your former self - it is showng the default image for your profile.
