July Stats!
Well its the end of the month, Nooooo, really!!! ; 0
That means its stats time
That initself I find ironic, as being in the corporate world, I hated stats
But
Since becoming a professional affiliate marketer, way back in February 2009, I now
Love Stats
They are our benchmark and road map to success, particulalry since being here at WA
So, I thought I would share my own stats with you, to give a sign of progress, especially as I have now evolved into a multi functional system way of working and applying the training here
Doing this enables me to work centrally from both WA & GMail, contribute here, build out two blogs, both of which are on my profile now, occupying the top two slots, drive traffic and network, very nicely across an 8 hour minimal working day
My 8 hour day is broken down into time slots, of organisation, factoring in
Exercise and fresh air, which includes swimming and cycling : )
I digress slightly, but al this helps keep the focus which has come from applying the training here, which leads me into my stats.
So in No particular order here we go
Bounce rate
is coming down nicely and was at around 50%, which is good, considering it was high 80s at one stage, in the early days of building the blog out, but now since its started to take a shape of continuity and structure that has had an effect on the bounce rate
Referrals
I have had 3 referrals to WA, none at this time have upgraded to premium, this doesn't worry me in the slightest, I'd be more concerned if I had ZERO
Associated Affilate Signups
3, again this has come since structuring the blog more to the appearance it has now, but commissions are being earned this way, so happy with that
Google Adsense
Working well and earning, close to $9 for July, so again happy with this, as its added to my previous balance
Custom Sign Up pages
These are the ones we can create under the $ tab. This has been an incredible stat.
AI use a particular Traffic Exchange, which is well established and one I have used for years
On this I have a few WA sign up pages, all of which rate well... but one especially which is the custom home page sign up, has risen over 48.737 places and 2 levels, which mean it gets more exposure to the rest of that exchange
Equally from that same exchange, I had a sign up to another system I use to promote WA
So I was delighted with those figures, indeed all of my WA links are doing well on this exchange
Comparison Charts
I have around 4 comparision charts on my blog, all of which have had several loads, but the clicks are far fewer, I'd be more concerned if these figures were zero!
Social Media
YouTube, my figures and interaction there have gone up, which is pleasing, ever since I turned the 'bell' on and applied alphabet soup searching strategies to my terms, it goes off as much as WA does!!
Facebookpages
I don't use
Followers increased, since I stopped posting as much, but just commented and retweeted.
Linkedin
My followers there increase daily, without me doing anything, I can easily add around a 1,000 without doing anything there, which is nice
However, when I network there, then I can quadruple that figure with ease monthly, just by doing some simple tweaking and networking
Linkedin, is for business, I share my blog with everyone
And as previously stated, all of this has come from the training received here

I am surprised that you are not using Facebook to drive these stats at all. Facebook, despite being a picky demon at times is a great source of nearly zero bounce traffic when you combine a page with latest post and related content and a group that empowers your readers to have input into your future content. You might try adding it in the following months to see how your stats improve.
I am one who has used Twitter to build over 15,000 followers on my main account and 1070 as of this morning on a month old account for my main blog. My Facebook page in comparison only has a little over 200 followers but engagement percentages are much higher despite the pick and choose algorithm of Facebook Feeds.
Social Media drives traffic and social signals which are two of 3 main factors of good SEO and ranking well in Google long term.
I know people are surprised I don't use it, but I have never been convinced of it, find it distracting and for the traffic factors and networking issues, I much prefer the networks listed
Facebook is distracting as a whole but focusing it via page and group are formidable options. Still one must go where they are happy. I use Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, and LinkedIn in that order to drive social traffic. But I can understand limiting oneself to areas of personal confidence. I believe we are connected on IBO Toolbox which is another great platform for those of us in the affiliate marketing arena.
Wow! That's great, Dave!
Good idea keeping away from Facebook. It's the only social media platform I've used that doesn't grow beyond friends and family.
I don't mean to be pushy or anything, but if you aren't already, you should consider utilizing Pinterest. It grows fast and draws people in.
PS: Linkedin sounds great! Guess I should start working on an account X)
Thanks for sharing this, Dave. It's very encouraging for us new kids :)
Facebook, is a no no for me, hugely and as for being pushy about Pinterest, not at all, I have a pinterest account and to be fair, because its so simple and easy to use, I forget TO do it : )
Linkedin, well thats been there before all of them and works.
Glad you found it encouraging. Its just a matter of applying the training really
Lol, so true! Pinterest is so easy that it can keep us lazy at times X)
Really? I didn't know Linkedin was that old. I'll have to add it to my agenda.
Looks like you had another successful month, Dave.
I quite like stats as they show you where you need to improve and which actions had a positive effect. Just sometimes they can be quite disillusioning and bring you back to earth. But it's very beneficial from the learning aspect...
Great progress, Dave. You must be particularly pleased with that bounce rate coming down to 50%.
Can you tell if you are getting any benefit from Linkedin? We are signed up there form a previous business but have done nothing with it since joining WA.
Colette and Philip
Yes the Bounce rate is very pleasing I must say.
As for linkedin, then yes, as stated in the article I get around a 1,000 new connections a month, for doing not much really
With Intereactions, then thats quadrupled easily
It has always produced business and from a brief brush with MLM a few years ago, I built a neat downline, not one that did much, mind you, but buolt one none the less
Linkedin is like anything, work it and it works for you, do nothing the opposite applies

Great update Dave. Some interesting stuff in there.
What are Associated affiliate signups?
Adsense really is a slow burn isn't it.
Custom sign ups - I have seen a couple of these and they look great. Where do I find them as I cant seem to see them in the $ tab.
Will be looking at Youtube a bit more in light of your report. I hae heard the term alphabet soup before so must do some research
I have seen the interaction on Twitter reduce to naff all recently on my posts. Might try your tactic.
Your Linkedin report intrigues me a lot. I was using Linkedin with TopLinked and getting a ton of new followers each day. I would then export them weekly onto a list in my autoresponder. However, GDPR has scuppered all that as there is no prior consent so not sure what to do with Linkedin anymore, must be honest!
Your thoughts would be most welcome
Cheers Dave
Jon, thanks for your comments
To answer your questions
Associated Affiliate sign ups are signups from associated affiliate ventures which are shown on my blog, under the resources and recommended section
Adsense is a slow burner, but still money for nothing and am actually looking at a very, well established ad venture, which works in a similar way to Adsense but more potent and an ad plugin which gets better the more I research it
Custom sign ups, go to $, click on it and then about half way down, you see a tab called custom sign up. There is training on this as well within WA.
YouTube, I am loving YouTube, especially now the bell is turned on and I start using Alphabet Soup research for my niche, It provides lots of good ideas.
Twitter is simple, I just react to stuff instead of posting stuff
Linkedin... I tried top linked, as part of a premium trial years ago and didn't find it that beneficial, inf fact I had more top connections in my own network, than that gave me !!... work that one out.
My profile on Linkedin is fairly maximised and refelcts exactly what I do, even today I have around 7 new connection request and I haven't gone there yet.
If this sounds confusing, this might help... I work with multi tabs open at any one time, so I can prioritise, generate traffic and network at the same time.
Thanks Dave for the comprehensive response.
Great insight on your associated affiliate sign ups. I wasn't aware of one of them and I will definitely be looking at that.
Look forward to hearing more about your ad venture in the future.
I haven't got Custom sign up on mine. I guess that comes after a certain point in time.
I have studied your Linkedin profile and am working on improving mine.
Thanks again for the great pointers
