I have accepted guest posts in the past, but very few. I have a page and form for guest posts on my website. The form asks for information like the subject they plan to write about, their experience, what website they want to link to, a writing sample, etc. Then, I give them a time frame of when I will get back to them about the post. If they don't bother to fill out the form, I will not consider their post. I have found that, for me, this helps weed out the low-quality posts.
