Would like to know if anyone's had experience with using this theme from DIYThemes for their Wordpress site?
This is it here:
http://diythemes.com/thesis/v1-update-wordpress-

Hi. I am considering to buy the latest thesis. I checked your websites- one is expired domain and one is down. Any updates?

I think she is no longer at WA!

No wonder. Thank you!

Your welcome! :)

Is it a free one? Because I couldn't find it.

It is a paid theme.

Hi there, I'm using Thesis it works very well for me. Editing on Thesis is loads more simple and once you've got to grips with the layout (I'm still not there yet) it makes things like adding social media boxes so much quicker. I'd say if you are serious about web building etc. then Thesis is definitely worth the money. It also has some great training videos so once you have purchased they don't leave you stranded. Let me know if you decide to buy it, what you think and we could exchange tips and feedback.

Mikey

PS if you want to see it at work then check my website out I'm using the Promo theme in Thesis (www.unlockthefear.com).

Thanks Mikey!
Just wanted to ask if you had any troubles with installing the theme on your Wordpress site?

In previous instances i've purchased premium themes and because the theme required connection to remote servers, I would always have to contact the WA support team separately to help me temporarily connect to the server just to make theme updates. It really was very tedious so I really don't want this to be the case with the Thesis theme that's all haha.

No worries, I purchased Thesis before I joined WA, I wasn't as 'savvy' with web interaction, as they say, as I am now so it took me a while. If I could do it back then I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to you.

Hi Mikey. I just saw your reply. I couldn't access your website because your link doesn't work.

Hi thats strange, its www.unlockthefear.com if you copy and paste this into your address bar it should work, let me know what you think.

Thanks Mikey. Now it works perfectly. It's a beautiful theme and your website looks great. I must go and check prices.

Hi Mikey, I clicked on your link - unknown domain. I copied and pasted it - unknown domain. Hope all is well.

I've been using Thesis 2 for my current website. You can take a look at it if you want: http://nichemarketr.com

I'm currently using the Classic Responsive theme. There's definitely a learning curve and it will take time to figure it all out. I'm still learning to use it. Lol. And it shows up great on mobile devices.

Personally, I would recommend it. If you're just starting out with websites, I think it would be worth the money to go with the basic package for $87. The professional package is $197 but you can use it on multiple websites. The basic package only lets you use it on ONE website.

Hope this helps.

Thanks heaps for the tip Meghan! Also, when installing the theme on your Wordpress site, did you have any issues with the WA server, such as having to connect to remote servers?

PS Site looks good! :)

Thanks for looking at my site. No issues installing at all. I'm not using the WA server. I have my site hosted with Bluehost. The instructions that DIY Themes gives you to install the theme are pretty straightforward. However, if you have any issues I'm sure someone in WA live chat will be able to help you out.

Out of curiosity, compared to blog posts, do pages that also utilise low hanging keywords have a lesser likelihood of being ranked as high? I'm not sure only because they're muc

Google puts more emphasis on keyword density of your primary keyword in context to related keywords in your article then how you place your keywords. Sure its important to use your primary keyword at the bottom of your article but it won't have a big impact on how high Google ranks your page.

For example, you can have an article ranked for the primary keyword 'money" but alongside that you unintentionally use related keywords in your article, like "investment", "personal finance", "financial planning" etc. Those are related to your primary keyword and even though your article is not optimized for them they will still rank quiet good on Google if you done your homework on the SEO on your primary keyword.

A good example for that related keyword ranking is 'Adobe Reader". Adobe uses the term "Click Here" on their download page for adobe reader. Its not optimized for that keyword but because its so related and so many people use it and link to adobe they have one of the highest rankings on Google for that keyword.

Kyle, correct me if I'm wrong :-)
