Hey guys,

Yesterday I found a long-tail keyword with 5 QSR and 858 in Traffic! I am writing an article using that keyword and I am very excited to be posting it later on today!

Hopefully, that will get the article on first page in Google! This is very exciting for me as I have only joined WA over 1 week ago :)

Wish me luck!

Cristina

Brilliant and thank you I am understanding QSR better now.

Excellent - well done

it means there not any competition at all and its a lot of traffic. If she writes a good article that is properly SEOed' she can rank on the first page of Google in either of the top 3 spots. Thus she can gain 45 to 50% of that traffic which is about 400+ viewers.

Thank you for the thorough explanation :)

It is not so simple, I would be more careful. QSR is more or less meaningless, this is not your true competition. Check the search phrase without quotes, this is your true competition. I have failed to rank with QSR=0, so speaking from my own experience.

Long tail keyword with 5 qsr in traffic...not to be dumb, but...what does that mean?

What RobertGee said ;)

Long-tail means a more descriptive keyword. For example instead of using 'football' I would use as more specific search term like 'when was the first football match held?'.
This way you can target a more specific audience and also avoid competing with big high ranking websited!
I hope that makes sense :)

That is a great discovery! Let us know how it goes. All the best,
Robert

Thank you Robert, I will do :)

Great!

As long as it makes grammatical sense. Go for it.

Of course it does ;)

well done Cristina, let us know how you go with the article..

Thank you Martin, I will let you know :)

Hi,

That’s great! Finding the right keyword is not always an easy thing to do (at least for me). You will build you site one word at a time.

Keep it up!

Thank you so much :) Yes, finding a low competition keyword is really tiring but I hope it will pay off!

Best of luck with it, do come back and let us know how you go, we love a success story :)

Thank you Heidi, I will do :)
