Getting To Know Us
Hello there!!
We are Crew Monkey! Brandi and Ron here.
A little background on our name Crew Monkey, kind of random and weird right? LoL Well I (Brandi) was pregnant with my son and the whole pregnancy I really craved Bananas!! Every single day I had to have my Banana, sometimes more! Then my little man started moving A LOT in my belly, kicking and I swear smacking and punching me from the inside. So one day I just started calling him my little monkey, making me eat bananas and him kicking and jumping around in there like a little high strung monkey. Funny thing, once he was born and start making noises, I swear he started making little cute monkey noises! Cute right?
Well since I just had my son, clearly I don't want to go back to work, plus the cost of care for an infant is INSANE! So we did some research on work at home opportunities and found Wealthy Affiliates, so glad we did! We decided it would be better to work as a team at all of this so we are a "crew" (ha, get it? lol). We are still going through the bootcamp and the courses, learning as much as we can. We started up one website without really looking into anything and boy was that mistake! Our second website, we did the same thing, not really looking into any of the courses or emails and we came to a point where we were kind of stuck. Finally, we decided to begin doing the courses and the bootcamp! We basically tortured ourselves trying to just jump in there.
We decided to get rid of that first page we horribly attempted to set up, but we are still using the second one. We put a lot of work into it so were are just trying to make certain changes, add things, take things away, etc.. Constantly looking for feedback on it so we know what exactly to work on but the courses are also informing us of what to have and not have. Hey there Brandi and Ron.
That's a great story. I can be a bit of a frog, hopping from this to that. Things work better for me when I settled down and worked through each lesson. Sometimes they are fun and sometimes tedious, but it pays off in the end. There were times I didn't understand why I was doing a particular lesson, but within a few more lessons, it all began to make sense.
Kyle and Carson have designed the lessons to give you a full picture of building your own sites by the end of the lessons, but each step does matter to learn. Hope this makes sense. Good luck and best wishes always.

Good to know the story behind Crewmonkey. It is best to follow the courses and do the tasks, sometimes it does not seem to make sense, but just do it. Then later you can change it around a bit.
