I'm always looking for ways to broaden my horizons. For the past 20 sum odd years I've been searching for ways to become successful online or internet marketing, as a means of replacing, and or retiring from present governmet job of 38 years. I have always had a passion for helping people. Becoming a member of Wealthy Affiliate University, I will learn online affiliate marketing first hand and become a business owner at the same time. Following the proven road map of Kyle

Hang in there Ricardo. Yes, my first wife wanted to take everything and left me to raise my children alone. On the bright side My relationship with my children is great.They're all grown now and raising grand children. Grandchildren make it all worthwhile!
So I finally went back to scghool and just as I was finishing my PhD in engineering, I had a stroke. That hasn'y been any fun at all! That was neartly 2 years ago and I can almost walk again and am finishing my degree.I can't work like I used to, so that's why I'm here.

Patricia, this is my second time around with WA. I read "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill twice. then came back to WA upgraded to Premium. The book talks about the 16 principles of the bible, when you apply them correctly they will work for you. I stand on 'each one teach one'. God bless you!

Over the years I've had: Gov't job/side job/seasonal job/part-time job/temp job; Interwoven with those jobs have been: mlm/direct sales/online trading.. and the list goes on. (I'm beginning to sound like Forrest Gump).
Anyway, I'm back at it - again, but THIS time I believe things will truly be different. Not because W.A. is a magical formula, but because W.A. is a place where, for the first time, my efforts will be properly rewarded.

Both books talked about the 16 principles of the bible, when you apply them correctly they will work for you time after time. I live by the principle 'each one teach one' is the key to my success. Life is pretty good when we can keep hope alive. I hope you will lock in this foundation for your retirement, out of your 38 years in government. Whew!!! I might have gone the same way if it hadn't been for jumping ship to work 7 years for private industry with an airline.

I love that book, "Think and Grow Rich". I read it over and over for several years, as I was reworking my life and priorities. Many of the principles, of that book, are presented in Charles Haanel's book "Master Key System" in a way that generalizes them to perspectives for managing and directing one's ways of thinking and perceiving, in order to succeed and thrive. Quite a read. It's one of those books, like "Think and grow rich, that is best digested in small bites, with time for conscious and unconscious contemplation between bites. It's free on the internet as audio now too. Well worth a listen or read.

Richardo, Thanks for your comment on Journaling. It is pretty clear that a Captain must know his destination before taking off. That is why we have written flight plans, Same for our vision. When we write it down, our vision becomes clearer. When you write down an objective and measure your result, objectives are accomplished. When they remain abstract thoughts in our heads, objectives are rarely accomplished on time.

I have always said I wanted to do that. Even over 20 years ago, I did write it down. My mother said it was so horrible to throw it away. She didn't want me kids to see what was happening to me. It would make a great biography now. Unfortunately, I dead burn them all. I have many friends I try to help that are in the same circumstances I was. There is a good trust. I am always willing to help others.

Yes no dough as you progress , you will learn new ways of being in business....If I may suggest ..."and this is double work" but overwhelming to....For every ITEM or SUBJECT that you come across now and you are not sure or become inquisitive , wright it down and later give yourself 10 minutes per subject to research it on the web. Once you do that You must read it obviously and progress...
