Rick - The application of the Golden Rule has proven to be a time tested principle of reciprocity which benefits all. These days, more of it would be better. I see a lot of TGR around here at Wealthy Affiliate. Thanks for sharing.
Right on! But have you also heard of Elur Nedlog Rick?
If you have not, it is the Golden Rule spelled backward! And meaning as follows:
"Do unto yourself anything you WOULDN'T do unto someone else" ;-)
Think about it....(it's another Martha Beck philosophy)!
Injoy Brother!
Cindy
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. (Who in my generation could forget Alan Alder! Mash is still running every week night in Australia.)
The Golden rule has proven dominant in the end EVERYWHERE globally over time Rick. I dare say it comes out on top everywhere in the universe as well!
A very important reminder, Rick, for any assembly of people.
The famous;"Treat the others in the way you want to be treated". or in different wording,
"And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them." can be applied to any kind of human relationship- friendship, romance, family, business, whatever.
If this principle is not followed, things fall apart....:))

Thanks for this! I remember as a small child reading Charles Kingsley's Water Babies and being completely confused by the two ladies in the story... Mrs Do-as-you-would-be-done-by and Mrs Be-done-by-as you-did.
Couldn't understand it then, but it makes perfect sense now! Obviously moral education went straight over my head then! Sue :)
Some things take a while to sink in, Sue. I'm still working on differential calculus! :)
Eeeek!! :)
