Google ranking posts how long will it take if they do
There's no definitive answer.
Indexing works on Google time
Ranking has better chance if post has a searchable targeted keyword and topic covered in depth that answers your audience issues.
Good morning Cory,
That's a difficult question, however, recently I put up a new website and the post was indexed the following day. With old websites that have regular content, I find that the posts can be indexed almost instantly!
However, I wouldn't focus on that too much, I would just start writing and then you will be found.
Have a great day.
Roy
It can take a few weeks as of lately.
There is no way to predict when Google will index a post!
How long does it take google to rank a post if they want to?
Google ranking posts how long will it take if they do
Hi - do you mean indexing or ranking, as they are 2 different things? Each individual article you write needs to be found by Google and indexed.
The final stage is when Google decides which page to display each post on, in its search engine results pages. The ultimate goal is to be placed on page 1.
This is called ranking, and can easily take 6 months.
And as I mentioned to you previously, posts that contain copied and pasted material will not be ranked.

I was just wandering Im new here and was going to start writing my first post and was wandering if I should be care full not to mention brand names such as coke , captain morga
You can mention quite all right, but I would not for example register a domain name with a brand, or use any of their material until I have applied and got accepted to their programs.
i would also comply with their terms and conditions.
Agree with Phil.
Not sure what kind of post your are writing. I would start with informational and not product specific. Informational posts grow traffic faster so that when you don monetize you have some traffic that will buy.
Depends on context. I wouldn't risk criticizing them, for example, but you are unlikely to get in trouble by saying "well, that's it for me. I'm going off to have a refreshing Coke. Might even add a splash of Captain Morgan rum". Why do you see the need?
