I’ve joined WA again and I think it’s time to update my profile.
English is not my first language so I can’t put everything in words in a way I would like to. I’ll do my best, though.
As I said before, it’s my second time here. To make a long story short - I joined WA in Nov. 2013, did nothing with it (for many reasons) and quit my paid membership. In Nov. 2015, I joined WA again and went for a yearly membership.
My name is Janus. I live and work in the Netherlands (love this country). I’m happily married for 23 years and have two gorgeous daughters.
I have a “good" job, me and my family don’t have to go hungry and I’m certainly better off than many fellow members out there. I’m grateful for this.
So, why did I join a program like Wealthy Affiliate?
Because my job has many disadvantages as well. Too many to list them all here.
It took me probably 30 years and a small fortune to get where I am now but I wouldn’t hesitate to quit it tomorrow (and never look back) if I knew today that I can be successful online.
I can’t even tell you how much I’ve already missed in my life because of my day job. I almost can't remember the time when my kids were younger and that time’s never gonna come back. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.
My wife and our daughters make my life worth living. I wanna spend as much time as possible with them but I definitely won’t be able to do so if I keep my job. I turned 50 a few weeks ago and the ticking of the clock’s getting louder.
I’m not an absolute beginner when it comes to all the "internet stuff”. I have been online for years. Wealthy Affiliate is THE place to be if you wanna be successful online. I’ve seen a lot, I have been scammed numerous times and I've came across all the scam artists so I know what I’m talking about.
Wealthy Affiliate and our community is very unique and amazing!
I’m taking this “WA thing” very seriously. I’m making "baby steps” at the moment because of my biggest problem I have - lack of time. I’m absolutely aware of the fact that I won’t get anywhere at this pace so I’m working on a solution already. I got some experience in coding and computers in general. I’ve been working with Wordpress for a while, so I don’t have to learn everything from scratch.
With my little experience and the help from Kyle, Carson, Ian (my referrer) and the fantastic community I’m sure I will finally reach my goal. I, on my part, will do my best to contribute to this community as much as I can.
