Why Wealthy Affiliate?

I don’t have much experience in blogging and I’m not much of a writer (yet) so please bear with me.

In my 1st blog post here on WA I’d like to share with you why I chose Wealthy Affiliate for learning how to build an online business.

If you’ve been online for a while and have been looking for an honest program or review which would help you to build an online presence, you’ve probably had a hard time doing so.

Over the years I’ve learned that there are some typical kinds of Programs, Services, Courses, Internet Marketers, Affiliates or so called “Gurus”.

There are e.g. dishonest people who use the “anonymity” of the internet and lure people into programs with ridiculous promises like “Make $1.5 millions by the end of the week…. in your pajama…. guaranteed!”. More often than not you’ll find yourself clicking through up-sell pages and nothing else.

There are people who have websites but do not really know what they’re doing. They’ve taken internet courses somewhere and have been taught that it’s ok to throw out rewritten and useless content if they can’t come up with quality posts themselves.Their intentions may be honest but the effects are minuscule.

Then, there are people offering "businesses in the box”, professionally designed programs that you are advised to follow if you wanna make some quick and easy money. The only problem is, you (most likely) never will, and the people behind those programs know it. You would make money if you could build such programs yourself but not by following them.

There are only a few “jewels" out there that are worth the money.
Wealthy Affiliate is a jewel. The training here is very extensive, relevant and up to date. The interaction within the community is amazing. This community has been like a family to me from day one. For a shy person like me it’s a life saver.

I also like the way WA is teaching us what’s really important when it comes to creating an online business. The emphasis on quality content and the value for people visiting our websites is crucial…and it works.

The quality of many websites created by WA members, even beginners - and I mean the content AND design - is astonishing. It's because we learn the basics here. We’re laying the foundations here and by the way, there is NO other way to succeed online.

Anyway, I intend to stay here. I’ve arrived at the right place and I know for sure that I’ll never look for a different way to establish an online business again.

With that in mind, let’s make it happen!
