I can't copy images from Amazon for my niche blog because there's no Site Stripe when I access Amazon.com app. Is it just for Amazon affiliates? I'm not one.
Can anyone p
Just a little aside to what Joe has written Cinderella. Any published work in the USA is automatically copyright whether the copyright symbol is showing or not. Amazon does give its affiliates permission to use their images by using the site stripe.
Derek
Hi - no, you can't use any Amazon images unless you are an affiliate. And even then, you can only use the 1 image they supply you with for the product, you can't choose your own from the rest of the page.
If you wish to join, they do accept new sites, there is no minimum requirement. However, do be aware that you have to make 3 sales within 180 days, which is not easy if you are not yet getting traffic.
Thanks for the info Dianne, I really appreciate it.
My site is still raw and needs more polishing. I'm not sure if I can get accepted with that.
Thanks again.

Cinderella
Come On, Folks .. Let's not over complicate her simple question ..
The question was: "Is there any other way to copy images from Amazon?"
Uh ? Yes .. of course there is.
Right-click on the picture, and select "download image" .. (or the obvious choice)
... { and Yes, it is that easy, to "steal" just about Any picture from just about anywhere on the internet }
Regards
Joe
Thanks for the reply Joe. I'll do what you suggested. I really appreciate it.
Thank you.

Be careful! If I'm not mistaken I believe amazon has a copyright law set in place for its images
It may not be as cut and dry as Joe is leading you to believe. I haven't read the agreement since 2017 but I would be careful using images without permission
Again, The question was: "Is there any other way to copy images from Amazon?" .. said nothing about reuse etc .. I merely described "how To Copy" (steal?) Images from the web .. { strictly academic, dontcha know ;-) .. }
Reading is fundamental! She’s asking for her niche site... not just to copy but to reproduce for her to use.
So no I don’t know
Joe, Amazon tells you right in their "rules" that you cannot copy any of their images. As Diane said, you can only use the image with the affiliate link. You could get in deep doo-doo for using their images.
You're doing the right thing asking for help that is what building an empire is about asking for help along the way.
Great question and give it a shot to see if they will accept you. Just make sure you have the about me page up and a clear concept of what your site is about
Thank you Daisy, but I think I'm not yet qualified to join. As far as I know they require at least 10 blogs on one's website to qualify. I'm just starting to build mine.
Why would Amazon want you to have access to any of their images if you aren't working to promote them as an affiliate?
That sounds a wee bit negative, please be more positive in your responses.
We are here to help people.
Many thanks
Daisy
I'm new here in WA, I started with no idea at all about affiliate marketing, I'm still learning by just following the training in Level 2. I'm stuck and don't know what to do so I'm asking for help
It's actually considered an association as you're not really promoting amazon but products through the amazon site
