Is Acorn an Oak Tree?
There is no oak tree in an acorn but it has the patterned plan to become one.
Everything is governed by a basic law – either create or disintegrate. If we are not creating, we are disintegrating because nothing stays still – everything is in constant motion.
If the acorn is removed from the earth and therefore not in the process of growing, it must by law die. When it’s planted in the earth, it has all the potential there to grow into an oak tree:
- the energy of the earth
- the air, water, heat
- the atmosphere
As the shoots burst through the air, the particles of energy in the atmosphere are attracted to them. The acorn gradually grows and becomes the OAK TREE!
All the components of the oak tree – roots, trunks, bark, branches, twigs and leaves were already there in the patterned plan which rests within the acorn.
SO DO WE! Each of us has within us, all the potential to be magnificent oak trees.
When we started here at WA, most of us were acorns. With nourishment (training), encouragement (this community) and the light (goals and actions) we keep reaching forward.
The “OAKTREENESS” is already within each of us.
Do you have your “Acorn” story? Please share :))

Hi Chuka,
I guess I'm an acorn, I've always been a little "nutty"...lol!! I have always seen things differently than other people. I have a very good imagination, I guess that's why I like to write. Thanks so much for the insight. Have a great day.
Mary
That's beautiful Mary. Great many people pass through life without discovering or using their potential. You use your writing to encourage and nourish others, which is simply amazing. Keep up the good work.
Good analogy. I don't think I was even an acorn. I don't know what is before that, but that's how much I knew. But I'm growing.

Beautiful Post, Chuka.
Thank you for sharing it with us.
Paul.
Much appreciated Paul. I'm so glad you like it :)
I think that in Canada, we have every species of tree, training, community, and goals leading to action.
Where I live, we have, yes the majestic oak (symbol of unrooted strength), the Chestnut Tree that provides as with delicious nut offerings when roasted, and of course last but not least, the symbol on our flag. It is representative of the Maple Tree that offers us 'Syrup' that compares to the nectar of the Gods.
We are all blessed in some way, are we not?
Paul.
