First I wish to express my deep gratitude to everyone here in this community of friends. It's been a beautiful journey of learning and deepening here.I had a back surgery two days ago and I know that I have to take a complete break from all activities and rest up / recover. Following that, I know I have a fairly limited time to spend here in this community (no more than 1.5 hours per day) and I want to do the affiliate boot camp course and take every action required. To do that well, I have to

“Greatness is not a function of circumstances. Greatness, it turns out, is largely a matter of conscious choice, and discipline.” – Jim CollinsIn his book, Good to Great, Jim Collins asks the audacious question: What separates great from good?Although Collins talks about big companies, the principles apply to individuals seeking greatness. He makes a distinction between input and output. This is one of the things we talk about a lot here at WA - ‘busyness’ does not

I'm exhausted, so this post will be very short. I wanted to share my day, which was fraught. The place I'm doing some work at the moment is a 45 minute train journey from home. Today it took 3.5 hours. Why? Someone threw themselves in front of a fast moving train. Therefore all trains were cancelled. It's a major incident. On an afternoon/evening like today, it's hard to think of the difficulty of the journey home. I keep wondering what made this person do this. When something like this happens,

The brain is the most powerful and ultimate search engine ever! It works with the keywords we have programmed into it since childhood. Some of these keywords are old and tired; they actually get in the way of our success and happiness. We spend so much time and effort supporting our website SEO activities including choosing great keywords that will help our business. This is a request you would rarely get or hear from strangers, yet it is one of the essential fuels that propel us to dizzy heights.I need encouragement, you need encouragement, every human needs encouragement – it’s one of our basic needs. Otherwise, imagine yourself writing an article or blog to which you poured out your heart and soul. Toiled to make it perfect and then publish it. Weeks later, not one person liked it or commented on it. How would it make you feel? That’s my

We are all controlled by our beliefs and convictions whether we are aware of it or not. These convictions determine the nature of our thinking, which in turn cause the actions we take.As we make it a point to move forward in our mind, it unfolds the power of thought that develops hidden possibilities. I find the quote below from Sophia Loren uplifting when I have wobbly moments. What strategy do you employ that makes you TICK?!

This obscure Law is about progress and growth, so when we realise one goal, a desire for a greater goal will develop. When a higher state is achieved, another more glorious state unfolds, tugging at us to reach even higher. Some examples:Sports people who reached personal best, team best, break world records and keep going. Here at WA, one day you rank over 500,000, you keep working hard and then you are number 3!In times past, it was believed that human beings were not capable of running one mil

I had a hospital appointment today and where I went to is the largest hospital in the area. Inside the hospital foyer, it sounded and felt like a market place: famous coffee bars, restaurants, newsagents, different kinds of stores selling a variety of products. It was vibrant and you would not believe it’s a hospital. What struck me though was when I was approaching the entrance of the hospital from the car park. A new niche had set up for the first time just outside the hospital entrance

On a lighter note…Here in the south of UK today we recorded a temperature of 34.4C / 93.92F, the hottest since 1911!We are basking in it and making the best of it because we know the storms are on their way.The amazing thing is that so many people are in great moods. If you live in the UK, you’ll understand why we love talking about the weather. Awesome! :))
