Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ - Other Resources

Last Update: May 30, 2020

It has been a busy week, so I haven't managed to get back to this FAQ until now, so to kick off the next phase, I have added the questions that were asked within the comments, along with categorising them and sorting them alphabetically. It should now be easier to find what you are looking for, even though they are not linked to the actual resources just yet. This will start to come together over the next week or so, but to see the updated list please click here to check them out.

In the meantime, and to also give credit to other members who have a similar resource out there, please find other sources for FAQ's here at WA.

If you have any other ideas or suggestions for categorising questions, please feel free to share them with me :-) And as always, if you find yourself repeatably answering the same question and it isn't on the list, lets get it added. You can either comment below or PM me directly.

Thank you for your cooperation and support with building this list and resource :-)

Speak soon,
Chrystopher

This is great Chrystopher and I think sorely needed for us newbies as well as more seasoned users. It will for ceratin make it a lot easier to find answers to any questions users of WA have.

A good discussion below between you and dkosh88 about how to answer or refer to an answer to questions you cannot answer yourself.

This collection of faqs is really building up to an invaluable " horn of fortune". I will do my best as well to do my own contribution.

Way to go, Chrystopher. For moving a big step in your " most frequent Wealthy Affiliate questions and answers " project. There are potential for more relevant categories of unique questions in future.

For e.g question about how to rectify certain issues that arise for using marketing and website programs. Other than those in the WA training platform.

I encountered such questions quite some time back. It was quite difficult to answer them, as i did not use the program and not familiiar with it.

To your continuous success,
David

You're welcome David and thank you :-) I agree, there is room for expansion and this will be constantly updated. This is not to replace asking questions for troublshooting issues, but if the question is asked frequently, then by all means, it can be added :-) The first port of call for all questions should be the Search Bar above :-)

Yes, Chrystopher. The Search Bar, it is the easiest way to do it. Besides the many other ways to leave questions in WA. It is really a wide variety of choices.

Thanks for sharing the other resources too.It was really an eye opener. Well, the most difficult questions to answer are those about website html, designs, programming etc.

Is it all right not to answer the question by referring them to the Search Bar or your FAQ platform?

To your continuous success,
David

Not quite sure what you mean by "Is it all right not to answer the question by referring them to the Search Bar or your FAQ platform?", but if I have understood correctly, then by all means, yes, answer their question for them :-)

The Search Bar helps to find Answers to Questions previously asked by members

The FAQ's help to find some of that information, sometimes quicker. Espeically if it's a question you didn't know you had, but the answer is helpful.

If the question is more technical or hasn't been asked previously, then defintely help them out and answer it for them, if you know the answer :-)

Hi Chrystopher,

Thanks for your clear explanation. So sorry for not phrasing the question properly. What i mean is: in a situation when i can't answer the question. Is it an usual practice to redirect them to the search bar or right resources?

What i usually do is to search the answers for them even when i am not quite sure about it.

Thanks for your time 😊,
David Koh

Of course you can :-) If you do the seach for them and find the answer, you can provide them with the link to the appropriate source. Try and keep it within WA where you can, but external sources are also ok, and I've done exactly this myself :-)

Felt very reassured. Good point. I make sure external resources are from original and reliable websites.

if you click on the little yellow star at the top of each of the posts, you can add a sensible name against it.
then to find them again click on hte dark star at the end of hte search bar at the top and you will see your list...
