Loving the community hating myself
I guess sometimes i feel like an outsider, i started this ride in October 2014 some who have been here that long are well on there way to the promised land of success and fortune, i on the other hand haven't got my site built yet because, well because maybe i didn't study hard enough at school, i left at fifteen, or maybe my brain isn't as young as it used to be.
Everyone works so hard to help and some days it (the information) just does not go in and stay, my old gran used to say "cloth ears".
What is Meta, what are tags, who sees RSS and quite a few more i can tell you, maybe that is my problem, i don't understand enough about computers
Maybe i'm taking on too much with my illness as well, Possibly the drugs(all legal) who knows? but i get a little dejected sometimes wondering if i have really got what it takes anymore to be a business man, did it once, but a very long time ago.
I don't know if anyone can understand what i'm talking about, does anyone else have this or am i just sounding like a winging old F**T?. stop me if i bore you won't you.

yes, its true Chris as we age our minds and bodies slow down.
but by reading and exercise stimulates more blood flow to the heart and brain stimulating your memory. To me, reading is like having a daily workout out I get pumped with enough information i need to remember for the next lesson, but remember easy dos it you don't want to burn yourself out. where you don't want to work out the next day.

I started in April of 2014. I just now got my website up. I am only on lesson 3 Bootcamp course 1. I am only 51. I am technologically challenged and time challenged.

Hello Chris. No you aren't a whinger, so let's get that out of the way. I am in a similar position to yourself insofar as I don't seem to be getting very far, but I keep plugging away at things. Feeling as though you are an outsider needn't be a bad thing, but please don't feel isolated.
I know that sometimes the forums can be distracting, but if you stick to doing the lessons, and go back through them as I do, then things may start to make more sense.
Ask questions by all means, and if you don't quite understand the answers, keep asking. Don't give up Chris, as WA isn't all about computer "whiz - kids". If it was, I would have left long ago.

just keep plugging away at the training course step by step until you know it then you can build a website and you are on your way, it s not going to be easy, get rid of those negative feelings if you have to go over step one three times before you know it and understand

Ah Chris, whatever you do, don't give up. You had the inclination and the motivation to start this journey, so you know you've got it in you. I didn't have a clue when I started (which was only 3 or so weeks ago) so I know how hard it is to try and understand everything. Just take one thing at a time and take it at your own pace - you WILL get there. Onwards and upwards cloth ears :)

Do not feel like the lone ranger ,I'm right there with you take your time some one told that they hadn't be here long as me and they were farther then me or as he said making money .Trust me my feelings were hurt but he do not define me .If it takes me longer than someone else ,that means I'm getting the full understanding .Anything you do not get ask me .Not a expert but I know a little that I can help or point you in the right direction.
