WidowWidower
You are probably very curious as to what I am on about here.
What I want to ask everyone both male and female is the question of do you ever become what I refer to as a:
I am curious if it is just me or do other people experience this feeling at different times of the year, just depends on what the person is interested in.
I become a bowling widow in the summer as my husband plays bowls, both in a league on a Friday night as well as competitions during the week and at the weekend. Then in the winter I become a football widow.
On a Saturday my other half and one of my sons go and watch a team that my dad has been involved with over 50 years, this was actually how Davie and I met. I have been brought up with football and have followed Whitehill Welfare FC since I was a young girl so it was only natural that my 3 would be brought up supporting them too.
Whitehill in the Claret and Sky Blue scoring. Then the rest of the week/weekend is normally spent in front of the TV watching football of some sort, especially a Sunday as you have 2 or 3 games during the day then from September to February the American football gets watched as well.
I don't mind football but it can get too much when you are subjected to nearly every single game that gets shown on TV.
So if there are any others here within WA that have the same problems at any time of the year, I have to say that you have my full sympathy lol.
One good thing is that I like the time to myself usually on a Saturday during the football season as I get the house to myself so I can do and watch what I want whenever I want.
Everyone.

Cheryl,
I'm there with you.. My husband is pretty much glued to the set during football season. I don't mind some of the games (I do have my favorite teams) but, he will watch every game that is broadcast. So, heaven forbid I'm watching something else when the game comes on.
Kathi
Thanks Kathi, I tend to work on WA when they are watching games and like yourself I do watch some games. It's a pity that we are all so far apart lol, we could have had a womens meeting. Xx
Yeah, we could.. This season I'll have Wealthy Affiliate.. last season, I hadn't discovered it yet..
I'm a fencing widow, Cheryl - that's not gardening I'm referring to, but swords (or skewers, as I refer to them to wind him up) that my husband dedicates his Wednesday evenings to, as well as some weekends. And when competitions do not take place, it's just pure training in 'his room' downstairs.
Mind you, I don't mind so much, as when he's away, I don't have to do cooking #lol

So true GIulia, that is one good thing about it. I like being having the house to myself. Xx
