I want to position my image within my post.

When you put your curser over the image, you center it, align it left or right.

You should be able to click and drag the image..BTW don't forget to set an alternate tag.

Hi Cathy, If there is a way to drag images around your post, I don't know how to do it. I am like Jane, below. basically delete the image and replace to a different position. Sometimes you have to play with it a bit to get the image how you want it. Just part of the fun. ha-ha

Work in draft mode (if you accidentally publish you can go back to draft by going to the top right where it says status: Published Edit, pust edit and go back to draft). Put your picture/s in, save the draft and then view the page. Look at where the picture ends up and make a judgement call on where you actually want it. Go back into edit. If you just want to move it sideways, view the image attached. If you want to move up or down click on the x on the picture edit bar to remove it. Then go to where you want it and reload it. You may need to do this a few times. Just save the draft and view the page/post each time to check if you hit the nail on the head. I have experimented and had no problems with this.

Thank you Helen,
I learned all about adding pictures by fiddling around with them, adding them and deleting them (years ago).
You described the process much better than I did. I even learned something new - image details.

Have we all established if there is a way to drag pics around or not?
Jane

I will experiment. You can drag words so who knows!

I was working on this just last night because I had some images that absolutely refused to go where I wanted them. but I found a video that shows some good tricks.

Hi Cathy,
I haven't actually tried to drag pictures around the Pages or Posts, but what I do is (if the picture isn't quite in the right place), you click on the picture and press the "x" in the right hand corner to delete it. You'll then have to click your curser exactly where you want to relocate your picture in the text and go and get it and embed it again.
You have to do this over and over again till you're satisfied on the exact position.
Just be aware that the "edit" view is not the same as the "final" view. So all the too'ing and fro'ing getting the picture in the right place should be done in a free siteRubix testsite in a "Copy" of the Page/Post, rather than in your main website.
You can use the "Save Draft" button here rather than the "Publish" button for this purpose.
Eventually when you're satisfied you then copy and paste the testsite page/post into your main website.
Also as described by other members below, the pictures can be positioned on the Left, Right or in the Centre.

We have Many pictures throughout our Pages and Posts.
If you want to, please feel free to go and see what I've done with our pictures in our Website: cheekychihuahuaproducts.com
Jane

Thank you Jane. I'll do that.

You have already been answered click on image and a little icon comes up edit or delete click edit

Click on the image at the edit page. the following icons will come up at the top of the image. Do whatever you like.
Align left, Align Center, Align Right, No alignment, Edit, Delete

Only for aligning the image you may just click on the relevant icon.

By using edit menu you will be taken to another page where you can edit the image by re-sizing, aligning etc.
hope you have got it.

You can also click on the image in the post, and then you'll see a pencil icon for edit. You can select from a choice of alignments there.

You can use the drop down menu to align your image. Left, right center it is all in that menu. Hope this helps.

Thank you Lamont. So I cant drag the image to anywhere I want?

No. But you can delete it and then enter into the position that you would like.

Thank you. I hope I can return the favor one day.

My domain name shows up in the drop down box but, when I choose it, it just goes away.

Hey Cathy,

What browser are you using? Sometimes web browsers that are not up to date or are not compliant with web standards can cause problems. What I suggest doing is downloading and installing Google Chrome.

It's free and you can get it from here:

http://www.google.com/chrome

Install Google Chrome and let me know if you still experience the same issue.

I suggest using Google Chrome as your default browser too for everything you do online. I hope this works for you.

Hi Carson, I'm using Google Chrome latest version and still having the same issue with setting up of email addresses

Hello Carson, I'm having the same problem. I'm Firefox instead of Chrome (I've had several bad experiences using it) but from what I am reading in a couple of other post it doesn't seem to matter if you are using Chrome or not.

Hi Ray,

I followed up with your email issue and I see that you were able to setup 3 emails for your domain. Can you let me know what you did to fix the issue? We cannot reproduce this error from our end even with your account.

Thanks for your help with troubleshooting this.

Carson

Hi Carson

The support team offered to set up my 1st two addresses through the back end. The 3rd one I set up myself today. Not sure how the problem was resolved, but I'm happy it has been. Thanks for you interest.

Regards

Update: My email setup is working just fine. Thank you Carson, Kyle, and support team for promptly responding to my problem and fixing it.
Tracy

Could it have to do with Chrome's settings for pop-ups?

Tech is working on this. It should eb cleared up soon :)

I'm having the same problem and I am using Google Chrome

I am having the same problem. The lessons that I have discovered suggest going through the control panel to set up the accounts but when I go to the control panel there seems to be an update where there is a shortcut but it does not seem to work. When I attempt to use the shortcut It will not allow me to select my domain when I try to choose it from the drop down box. This all started yesterday 04/03/2015 at which time I submitted a support ticket and the last response I received from support was that Carson or Kyle would have to assist me with this problem. Thank you in advance for any help with this problem.

P.S. I have attached a a screen shot of the message I am getting.

Hi Tracy,

As Kyle mentioned below, we've found the issue and are working on a solution. Sorry for the inconvenience, it should be fixed soon.

Carson

I appreciate all your help.

Hello Cathy, Google Chrome works for me pretty well.Have it on all of our computers. Hope that this helps.Ken

I have Google Chrome but I will uninstall it and reinstall it and see what happens.

Yes, when I click choose a domain, my domain name shows up but when I click on it, it just goes away.

I suggest creating a hosting support ticket here:

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

You can also find this within the SiteRubix menu under the "SiteSupport"(to the left). This is where you should go if you ever have loading issues, email issues, etc with your website or if you accidentally do something that adversely impacts your website.

This support is 24/7 and upon submitting your ticket we will look into it right away Cathy!

PS. I hope you have an awesome weekend ahead!

Hi Kyle, I'm having exactly the same problem. I have logged a support ticket but help does not seem to be coming. I'm new on WA, just upgraded to Premium and busy building my website. This problem regarding the setting up of email addresses in frustrating me now. It seems like a widespread problem. Regards

We found the issue. We are working on a resolve for you guys and it should work shortly here. :)

Thanks Kyle. That's great!

Hello Kyle, I'm having the same problem and I reported it to support 04/03/2015 and they suggested that maybe you would have the answer to this problem.

Thank you for your prompt response to our concerns.

Yeah, it is an issue with the UI if you only have one domain name. We will hopefully have this issue resolved by tomorrow AM here (is a long weekend, but we have our team on it).

Thanks again everyone for finding and reporting this issue here. :)
