Did i make a mistake?

I have a domain name, bestfreeonlineaffiliateprogram. It sounded like a good idea at the time. Now that I have started trying to build my site, I'm not so sure. My thought process was to discuss free programs and then tie WA in as a better choice. Does that sound like I am trying to deceive my audience? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to give you a comment as well, but I first had a look at all the other comments. as it turns out I "liked" (ticked) most of them because basically I agree with them all.
... So ... What can I say? Tell the truth and go for it, you'll be fine.

I have purchased domains and did nothing with them because it just did not work for me and my niche so if you like it stay with it all the best

Thank you everyone for your feedback. I hope that I can be of help to you all some day. I wanted to choose something that wasn't all used up but when I started researching, I was having a hard time finding anything that was completely free.

I like it and what a lovely picture of you!

Thanks so much GinaGo.

That is a super awesome domain name. And you are absolutely not deceiving anyone if your write your reviews properly.

Obviously, writing proper reviews is too big of a scope to discuss here but it really is not necessary as all the information and training you need to learn how to create great reviews is available here on Wealthy Affiliate.

Before you get too far into content development, I'd suggest you take Kyle's advise on influence from other review sites that compare free affiliate programs. Study them, analyze them, take ideas from them. Just don't copy.

To your success!

I have purchased over 50 domains that I have done nothing with its part of the course

As long as you explain the difference and be honest your readers will respect you

hi cathy, i understand your concerns. i say continue with your web name but right away let your audience know that there are limits on what your site will do for them i.e.
1. there are a zillion "free" programs that will make them money but probably won't make them money.
now explain the difference between them and wa

2. there are many free affiliate programs they can join. most of which are quite legitimate and that they may wish to join.
now explain the difference between them and wa affiliate program

3. wa overall program to get you on the internet.
hope this helps

Some great ideas!

I think as long as you are honest about the programs you are discussing, then you are not deceiving anyone. If you give the facts and let the consumer make up their mind based on the truth, I don't see how anyone could think they've been deceived.

Cathy there is nothing wrong with that angle because you are not deceiving anyone or throwing out a shallow sales pitch. WA stands head and shoulder above the competition and would come out on top on most comparative analysis.

I am in sales and marketing and our products are by far more superior in quality and cost so I use those strengths to proclaim the truth to my potential prospects, because every consumer is looking for these two in whatever they intend to buy.

As a matter of fact I intend to build my second website with this exact niche and I would love to have a look at yours for some ideas. Go for it Cathy!

I don't believe you're deceiving anyone. There are many free website builders out there for example that also offer premium services. If they didn't sell some services, they couldn't stay in business and offer free membership levels.I hope that helps :)
