3 Reasons Why Your Comments May Have More Impact Than Your Blog Posts
I LOVE reading comments!
Blog posts are great but I find so many gems and so much valuable information in comments. Very often I put aside 30 minutes to an hour while relaxing or waiting to read through comments.
Have you ever done that?
You should and you may find that your comments may be more impactful than you blog posts.
Here are a few reasons why.
1. Good Comments Create Engagement
The essence of a good comment is the engagement that is able to create.
If it is open-ended and inviting then, responses will follow and thread of discussion will be created that will contain valuable information.
Twack and Rami were really good at that.
I really enjoyed reading their exchanges and banters. They have lessons, humour, caring and support.
Twack is a great writer. I suggest that you grab some of his posts before he leaves us at the end of February. Rami has already said his goodbyes.
2. Good Comments Share Information
Roy has been with WA since 2014 and is very knowledgeable about affiliate marketing, WA and so many other things.
I enjoy receiving his comments because he takes the time to respond with authenticity and a lot of knowledge.
In this recent comment, I learned a bit more about Roy, how he spends his day, what is important to him, (so I can reciprocate and share information that may be valuable) and I received a link to Kyle's copywriting class which I highly recommend by the way.
Our interaction spanned 6 responses over 2 days and was very valuable to me.
3. Good Comments Are Uplifting
And then there are the comments that are uplifting and add more wind to our wings as we travel along our journey.
We may not hear from these authority figures often but when we do they are packed with motivation and inspiration.
Jeannine is another long-standing member of WA and our AWIN and ShareASale representative.
It is always a pleasure to receive her feedback and comments. They are helpful and rewarding.
Make Your Comments Engaging
Your comments are an extension of who you are, as your signature is. They will be remembered, referenced, shared, followed and give you authority and recognition.
Take your time to first READ and then share good quality worthwhile comments.
Remember, when your visitors read your blog posts, both here and on your websites, you want them to be meaningful and engaging.
Practice the Law of Attraction and Abundance and give what you want to receive.

This is so true Cassi. I pretty much always scroll down to see if there are comment to a article first.
I have been a bit slack with requesting comments for my website lately, and last week I decided I had to up my game and increase site comments on my sites.
I always struggle with time and tend to prioritise writing content, but you are so right to remember us not to underestimate the significance of site comments.

I agree that there is a wealth of information and support in the comments that we leave each other.
WA has taught me so much over my time here and I continue to enjoy the interaction with different people and different cultures.
In a way, WA manages to accomplish what the internet started out to do, connect others from around the world in a place that is safe and welcoming.
For that I am thankful.

Great guidance as usual Cassi. I particularly try to take the time to respond to the comments on my blogs and on the blogs of other WA affiliates. Not only is it a good way to connect, but it also provides the receiver with even more impetus to move ahead. A good and inspiring comment can make all the difference - of course those that contain valuable links to lessons do too! I'm amazed that in just 3 months I've managed to 'connect' with people I've never met and likely never will! Awesome stuff!
