When The Forest Is Dark And Deep And The Road Unclear
Have you ever gone into the bush or a forest that you don't know, with a guide or a group of people? You know, on one of those dark and gloomy days when the Forrest gets so thick and dark that you think to your self "Hell, if I lose them now I am screwed!" as you stop to tie your shoe lace.
As you stand to continue, the unthinkable has happened, You lost them. No sun to check direction, no recognisable landmarks, Heck, your'e so mixed up you don't know whether your'e coming or going. You stagger around for hours on your own until you give up and all you can do is Shout for help and....... Just then....
The Sun breaks through,
That helping hand reaches out and .....
You are back on track!
Welcome to wealthy Affiliates and my journey so far. It is an awesome trip but there is so much to learn that we, or at least I, often get overwhelmed. I take my eyes off the road and get lost.
The trick then is to reach out for help straight away and not fight on alone. During my 8 month journey with WA, If I have learned 1 thing, that is..... ask. By trying to go it alone, I now have 4 websites all incomplete. The only success I have had is when I have reached out and asked for help, from Support, Kyle, Carson and the Community.
So to all you newbies out there, Don't fight it alone. Ask and you will be amazed at the help you get. Starting a new site when I was overwhelmed never worked for me. I just seemed to walk into another brick wall. Now, after getting some help, the original sites are also back in play, to be completed when I have finished with the current site.
The moral of this story. You are never lost. You might be off in the wrong direction because there is a lot of information at WA. All you need to do is
raise your hand and help will be on your doorstep (or rather in your mailbox) soon.

Thank you, Marcus. I think we all need a reminder from time to time that we have an amazing community around us filled with people who are much better at this than we are and VERY willing to help.

As a newbie of less than 3 months, I agree with you Bryan. I get overwhelmed, lost in the details, lost in the lingo, just lost. Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning there is so much to take in.
