use product name review for the title then use product name reviews in your content ? well you use 1 keyword to target and only try to rank for that keyword, other words in your content will be picked up by search engines ... I have seen lots of reviews on the net that are titled product name review and show up for product name reviews when searching google .. just my thoughts

In the real world of search engines, there's not going to be any appreciable difference. The bots recognize singular and plural versions of the same word.
So just go with what makes the most grammatical sense in your post.
Probably "review" (singular).

I'm trying to determine whether or not it's ok to save product images from Amazon to my computer and upload them on my site, into review posts. Is there a rule against this? I'
Hi Britney, I typically use unsplash website for free pictures.
It’s unfortunate we can’t use Amazon’s! I do use their embedded link.

Hi - no, you are not allowed to use any images other than the ones provided by links. It is annoying, sometimes I would like a photo of a product from a different angle etc. If Amazon audits your site and discovers any, you risk being banned.

With the theme I'm using, it blows up my posts' featured images to the point they look blurry. It doesn't look good at all. I also don't want them to be so big on the homepage
About hiding the featured image per post level ...
Certain themes will allow you to do that in the post editor options ... Others wont ...
In this case you can use a plugin ... For example
https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-featured-image/
The size of the featured image is a theme-specific attribute ... It means that you can't change that ... I mean, without altering your theme template files and messy coding stuff ...
Now the blurry thing ... Let's say that the default featured image size of your theme is 600x300 px ... When you upload an image that is bigger than that, Wordpress will resize it and rescale it ...
If your uploaded image is 1200x600 px, that can be proportionally resized and rescaled (1:2)
But if your image is let's say 1366x480, that cant be proportionally rescaled to 600x300 ... And the result is a blurred and/or cropped image ...
So even though I can't resize the featured image within my theme, is there a way for me to hide it? I tried adding a few css codes, but they didn't work.
You can resize your image to to needed resolution offline (before uploading it)
Check out my second message about hiding :)
Short of switching themes, the only other idea I can think of is using larger, higher resolution images. It’s had to say. Give it a shot for one of them and see what happens.
Another option is to reach out to the theme creator to ask their thoughts on it.
I might just go with another theme. Unfortunately, I really like the one I'm currently using.
You understand that. Sometimes it’s just an unfortunate situation and you have to make the hard decision.
