What Is High-Quality Content?

As a blogger writing high-quality content is what you must do for a successful search engine marketing campaign. It means you choose a topic that people are searching for answers and solutions to their problems.

The purpose of having quality content on your site is to help Google find your site more easily. If your website writes thin low quality content or content that is written from AI-generated. Google may not find it easy to rank your site. I list three components that Google uses its algorithms to rank your website.

First, Google ranks your site through your external and internal linking. You need to make sure that your website is linked to one external high-authority domain site and an internal link to another blog post on your site only if it's appropriate for the topic.

Second, Google ranks the overall content of your site. It looks at your site and determines if it's high-quality and helpful content. This will increase the chances of your website ranking more easily in their search engine.

Third, Google ranks your site's based on its relevance to the search queries. Google stated that they will help you to know the quality of your content by looking at your site's traffic statistics and comparing the amount of traffic your site receives on a day-to-day basis from Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

If your site doesn't get a lot of traffic, Google may be less interested in it. Therefore, you must work to increase the amount of blog posting per week to gain more traffic on your site.

Why Is It Important For Google SEO?

We know that it is important for SEO because Google wants sites that provide the content necessary for people searching for it. This is why they encourage you as a blogger to write high-quality articles.

They meant that your content must be original and written in your own words.

It's so simple to understand. Google wants your website to show your experience, your expertise, your authority, and your trust (E.E.A. T). Your content must provide relevant and trustworthy information.

I am pretty sure that Google does not want a website that has content that is just copied and pasted content from other sites. This will damage your reputation. Even if you have some good content, your site could still lose traffic because of your bad reputation for copying and pasting from another site or for using AI-generated content.

Google states over and over in their helpful content guidelines that a site that is full of duplicate content won’t be trusted and is considered plagiarism and will receive a low ranking in the search results.

Why Does Google SEO Focus on E. E. A. T?

E. E. A. T stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. These are Google's Search Quality Rater Guidelines. These guidelines were developed to help individuals assess the quality of the results in a search.

To get your content noticed, you must prove that you are an expert in the niche industry of your choosing.

To do this, you should write expert-high-level quality articles. You can also show your expertise by creating an about me or my story page.

When you demonstrate these four qualities in your content. You very well can establish yourself as an authority in your niche, Moreover, this will help you earn the trust of your readers and Google will rank your site.

Original Content Written by You

Please make sure that your content stays original and written by you when your audience reads your content on your different blog post topics.

Sometimes when we search for keywords or search Google incognito we will end up disappointed because we found the content was already written by someone else.

Of course, you can't copy their information. Nor should you think about dropping it and giving up on writing about the topic because someone else beat you to the punch.

Here is a tip, what you can do is read comments that other people left on their blogs or find out if the article did answer the queries for its search intent or if there were any rebuttals or other information that is missing.

Trust me, based on my experience I can vouch that if you do this you can learn a lot by observing what other people think of a post. You will also learn more about other hot topics people are discussing. In addition, you can also check the sources of their content and try to make your content three times better.

I found in my search that some bloggers did not take the time to respond to their customer's queries. This is a great opportunity for you to seize and whip up an article about it.

Final Thoughts

I feel it is important for both of us to create high-quality original content on our websites. The significance of this is that we focus on building our site on relevant unique high-quality content that allows your articles to become relevant to the search engine when people query your keywords.

Brenda, thanks for sharing this information about Googles EAT. I had stepped away from online marketing for the last couple of years. Now I am trying to quickly get up to speed on what I forgot and what has changed.

It sounds like I need to do a much better job with my internal linking. Publishing more content is critical also.

Thank you! I hope you have a great weekend.

It is now E. E. A. T -not E. A. T. anymore. Google added another E. Experience, Expertise, Authoritative, and Trustworthy. Yes, you need to catch up. Being gone a while may have done you some good because you needed a break as you stated. A lot has changed now with Google. I wrote several blog posts about that and feel free to read them to catch up. Publishing content requires consistency because Google rules have changed so much with their updates and the last update last December regarding spammy links which tanked many websites. Now we have another issue with AI-generated content that Google has to deal with. You too have a great weekend.

Good morning. Thanks for pointing out the two Es that are factored in now.

As you mentioned, I need to revisit my about me pages. They could be more relevant now.

I hope you have a great day!

The reason that this is an important post is, as I am nearing the end of my training, I am understanding, increasingly, the significance of writing quality content. I see the importance of it to rank high with Google. Thank you for this high-quality content , that you have written, Brenda.

JD, thank you, funny the last name Gresham is the town where I live in- here in Oregon. I did not pay attention before until now I noticed it.

Yes. I have read a bit about it in my ancestry search my dad set me. Unfortunately, I don't think we are any relation to the Gresham the town is named after. But our ancestors do come from Gresham England and there are ruins of a castle in Gresham there. :)

Yes. That's true on the history in England.
